First Hand Knowledge Of What It Feels Like To Be Strangled!!

Even if it was 6 years not the 30 times to Dr. Beuf I read in an article about. it is not as concerning but still. We know how manytimes she was seen for wetting and soiling issues that produced some irritation and yeast etc. That in and of itself isn't a total red flag. But it starts some concern I'd of wanted to know WHY the wetting and soiling at age 6. That is a flag.
How many times WAS she seen for "wetting and soiling issues that produced some irritation and yeast etc."----I don't know how many times she was seen for that. I see ONE mention of painful urination, and another where Patsy mentioned bedwetting during a visit for a routine physical.

After reading that list, if indeed it's accurate (and I have no reason to believe it's not) --all of those visits could be deemed valid---the majority are for the basic cold symptoms and congestion---very common in kids her age. If anything, it looks like Patsy was a very attentive Mom. When it is listed like that, it doesn't seem excessive to me AT ALL. You know, some kids are just more "sickly" than others, and if my children were sick at the frequency that it appears JonBenet was (according to the list) I would've taken them to the doctor all those times too.

Sorry, but...if I had of heard "I FOUND HER!" and then "CALL AN AMBULANCE"...and my daughter had been missing for hours, and I had been sitting on the couch looking at photos of her, with my friends... and she was found IN THE HOUSE....I was assume that she was okay....maybe hurt....but, not dead. Dead would not be the first thing that popped into my mind...and I would be jumping up and running in her direction. I believe that 99 percent of the population would react the same way that I would.
Who said anything about dead? I said unknown. She heard Fleet say call an ambulance -- she possibly became totally disabled and froze -- consider yourself very lucky you haven't had to go through this kind of stress. You cannot say what any percentage of the population would do unless they've walked in her shoes. You haven't, therefore you don't know and neither do I or anyone else unless they have.

I don't know if Patsy had anything to do with JonBenet's death, but I do know that people have jumped to conclusions based on what they THINK they will do - not KNOW. Big difference. :snooty:

This post is my opinion.

It is the official list of Doctor's visits JonBenet had between 1990 and 1996 and nothing unusual about the type of visits she had. Most of them are allergy related. The reasons for those visits have been skewed by many posters throughout the forums. Just because skewed reasons are repeated over and over doesn't make them true.

This is my opinion.

Did you not all but 2 were for visits from 93 forward on your list.....?
Sorry I don't understand your point. This is very normal and alot less than some other children her age. She appeared to suffer from allergy related symptoms as I recognize the same visits with my son who also suffers from allergies. He's a boy but cannot use bubblebath either - he's allergic to it. I certainly don't see any multiple visits for urinary related problems - but alas people see what they want to.

Good point...the older she got...the more frequently she visited the dr. Usually, its the other way around. Younger children get sicker more often....because its harder for them to fight it off.
As children get older they usually interact with other children and catch things they normally wouldn't if kept at home away from other children so it's actually the other way around unless a younger child goes to day care and are around other children as well.

According to Dr. Beuf it was the cheif complaint.

It was misleading though to say x amount of visits over 6 years when the lions share of visits occurred in the last year and a half of her life. Thats all .

Regardless of what time frame the visits were they were all normal and they span 6 years. Isn't it misleading to say the majority of those visits were related to urinary irritation and bedwetting?

I don't know you'd have to consult the authors of a couple books. See if their intent was to mislead.

Dr Beuf told Diane Sawyer in a televised interview that he had given JonBenet 5 or 6 vaginal exams in the three years prior to her death. That's five or six vaginal exams between the ages of 3 and 6. What reason is there for a doctor to have to have a child that young drop her underwear and let him examine her vagina that frequently other than wetting and soiling issues?

PMPT, page 94

Patsy complained that JonBenet had frequent infections that were hard to clear up because her underpants were always wet.

And here's an article where Holly Smith, who spent 20 years on the Boulder County Sexual Abuse team, talks about what she saw when she looked into JonBenet's underwear drawer on the third day of JB's murder investigation.

http://www.myfoxcolorado.com/myfox/pages/News/Detail?contentId=1475842&version=2&locale=EN-US&layoutCode=TSTY&pageId=3.2.1

She found something else in the room, however, which raised an immediate red flag. Smith says most of the panties in JonBenet’s dresser drawers had been soiled with fecal material.

Thanks NP I knew it was PMPT and I was going to post the myfox link but I confess I was frustrated at the implication that it was the forum poster trying to mislead. When we know that is not so.

Whatever...and how do you KNOW what I have been through and what I haven't. My child DID go missing....she slipped out of the house, last summer...and we were frantic...we were really scared but not "frozen in Fear" to the point that we just sat on the couch together, looking at photos. My husband, myself and our 15 year old daughter...our hearts racing....were pounding the pavements looking for her, knocking on doors...asking anyone and everyone if they had seen a four year old, blonde hair, blue eyed little girl. We were frantic, she was missing for a long time....I finally found her....at some lady's home (that we did not know)....my husband was still out looking for her across the street, and down the road. I yelled to him..."I FOUND HER!"....did he just become disabled and freeze there on the sidewalk? NO. Did he dig out a photo album and go around showing her pictures to people, and walking down memory lane? NO. What did he do? He came running in my direction....which is what Patsy would have done, had she have thought that JB was ALIVE....IMO.

Credence: I have to chime in here because this old and used excuse that she froze or everyone acts differently is so played out. Any mother, any mother who has a missing child or has experienced it will know that the fear is unbelievable. I was in Bloomies one time and I heard this heart wrenching scream and it was a mother who couldn't find her child. We looked and found her but not before the mother went nuts for a few seconds. So please, when you say she froze, it is just so old and so used. The reaction of someone who did not know what happened to her child would be to run full speed in the direction of the person saying call an ambulance. The reaction of Patsy is a reaction by someone who knows what happened to her or assumed that she knew but now thinks "am I wrong" is she alive, and yes then she freezes.

At that moment, we are to assume that Patsy is not sure if her child is alive or dead, hence call the ambulance; hence PATSY START RUNNING TO FIND OUT. She did not do this. She knows she is dead.

What about routine physicals???

I see the first occur in 1994???

What about JonBenet's 2, 4, 6, 12, 18 and 24 month exams and immunizations? Where are they???

Excellent question!

Umm, correct me if I'm wrong (please!) but didn't the R's live somewhere else when JBR was a baby? I was under the impression that these visits we have listed begin about the time the R's moved to Colorado. So, maybe the baby visits were with a doctor somewhere else.

Once again, Dru--excellent point that nobody else picked up on. You are right.

If you scroll back and check her birth was the first date listed......no much going on though till end of 93 94 ish

Please re read on that list the first listing was JonBenet's birth and every year was listed. So that would appear to be a bit misleading. You cannot have it both ways. Say in 6 years this seems a normal amount of doctors visits. When as I say earlier the lions share was the last 2 years. We really should let all the years and dates and number of visits and for what speak loudly. NP makes a valid point in providing the post that speaks of Dr. Beufs interview that discloses how many exams were of JonBenets more private body area.
