Five Years Later: FBI to Assist in the Probe, December 2015

Watch this if you need a good laugh before going to bed.

The finger has been pointed in many a directions Hawk over the years....

Hopefully now the fun and games can end .... and the truth is one step closer to being realized.

I know I became frustrated... as I couldn't grasp the American System of Dealing with a case that appeared to be going cold and insisted you guys surely have the equivalent of a royal commission - as we do in Australia.....But I will accept recent developments are possibly the best bet to achieving a similar outcome???........Surely all cases under his watch will be scrutinised and reviewed now ????

Before cheering for the feds I would like to see genuine productive actions, which are;

1. Listing the baby girl as is, not SEX:UNSURE,
2. Listing the mother,
3. Disclose the tattoo of victim Jane Doe #6 which is kept like a state secret for 15 years by Fitzpatrick
4. Disclose the clothing of the "Asian" male victim which can help identify him
5. Most importantly disclosing the burlap. Keeping it a secret didn't help for 5 years.
6. Automating the DNA comparisons. If a database is not performing automated comparisons of submitted DNA samples but it requires the request of the investigating agency, then it is not really a database but it is "a pile of useless data"
7. Collecting a DNA sample from Tirrel Santiago's family, which I believe they will find a hit when they compare with the "Asian" Male

Otherwise if things will continue as they were, which resulted nothing in 5 years, then it means a parody of an investigation is handed to feds, nothing more.

Been awhile....grey matter stretched... Did they ever have a recording of the calls he made to Amanda???....

Release them!!!...someone may recognise the voice....

TOO Many things have been kept close to their chest to warrant a ....this will weed out mentality I'm calling this strategy bogus.....

ETA: Wasn't the baby wrapped in a blanket??......Release an image of the Blanket - Someone may recognise the blanket...or is that too simple an assumption???

Great video :)

But, seeing those corrupt faces made me feel anger and sadness. I did find myself grinning at some of the photos... probably should be ashamed of myself for laughing at some of them (i.e. poor GM's plastic eye shield, JB's 'stache that oft reminds me of that evil German guy, and the string-connecting evidence board). But, then again... do any of these guys feel shame for years of corruption?

I'm wondering if there will be more charges against any others in the near future? I wonder if the charges will stick? If sentenced... will they keep their pensions?

Finally, I wonder just how closely related is this SCPD shake-up to the LISK case??

Do we have faith in a "fresh" look??

"During the Burke-Webber regime, Suffolk police had removed three detectives from the FBI’s Long Island Gang Task Force, raising questions about the level of cooperation between the department and federal investigators. Asked if the department also had wavered in working with the FBI on the Gilgo case—beyond federal investigators helping in 2011 with a massive sweep of the barrier island where the bodies were found—Sini again declined to comment."

Will deputy commissioner Sini’s promises to take a “fresh look” at the case and bring in federal reinforcements lead to an arrest in the case? Stay tuned.

Removing the three detectives is the match that lit the fuse. It should have been a non-issue, but Burke made it into one. It was certainly Burke's right to make personnel adjustments.....again, do it right. He could have taken these guys out and put them into a choice assignment. He chose to humiliate them. Push came to shove with unwarranted wiretaps trying to find the leak to Newsday. BOOM!!! it blew up in their faces. The FBI just doesn't like it when their voices come over a tapped phone and the person that did it is listening to it instead of turning it off.

I had hopes for SINI, but his press conference on Ch#12 was nothing more than a lot of babbling on how he couldn't comment, etc., etc. He takes questions from the media and really doesn't answer most of them other than to say he can't comment. It thought it was kind of sad to watch professional police officers like Cameron, Meehan, and the Chief of Detectives have to stand there and listen to this BS.

BTW... it's too bad a (Low)Rita photo wasn't in that video, Hawk :D

Oh geesh... she IS there!!! Can't believe I missed her all the times I've watched.

By any chance, do you think that the 🤬🤬🤬🤬 dvd in that video

had any of the girls from Gilgo Beach in it?

Do you think that this 🤬🤬🤬🤬 video could have been made at Brewers or
behind the gates at Oak Beach?

And THAT is why Burke was flipping out? Maybe he is in the video - or someone
who is a politician or copper out there.

Maybe in the arrow videos dormer says the girls were "snuffed" out

He says anything trivial or unhelping, just to save the appearance... that he's calling for public's help etc. While he and whoever investigating the case keep real details hidden in the closet, details that people can provide actual input.

I'm surprised you even pay attention to this fat f...
