Child dies in chase involving Lowndes deputies

JASPER, Fla. — A chase in north Florida involving Lowndes County deputies resulted in the death of a child and the arrest of a driver on Tuesday, Florida officials said

Tisha Andrea Brown, 30, was charged by Lowndes County deputies with six counts of false imprisonment and one count of fleeing and attempting to elude law enforcement, a statement from the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office said. More felony warrants are expected from the state of Florida, the statement said.

Why indeed. At least the driver was caught and arrested. She's gonna be charged with several serious crimes. Big trouble for her.
Two 5-month-old children were injured. Other children also hurt.
Driving at 126 mph somewhere in all of this.
A deputy was hurt but apparently not seriously injured.
Glad the people in the other car were not seriously injured.
And one 11-year-old is dead.
The worst I've seen in quite a while.
