Not all of us would agree that marching for justice is "nonsense".
Why shouldn't they be in New York? Is that a gated community now, too?
It is true we know who shot him but honestly IMO enough information has not been made public for ME to say I know enough about what happened. I am not blaming anyone, as a human being and a mom and also a grandmother I just do not understand how if in fact she heard him being menaced she did not call 911.Taking to the streets will only cause more heartaches for more families if crowds get violent more people will die.How does that help get to the truth?I really am trying to understand not trying to be a troublemaker.
I wonder if the phone broke when it hit the ground.

BBM You don't believe a word Zimmerman is saying, so why believe Martin's father? Also, if the phone was some how powered down during the/a struggle, it wouldn't ring. The gf said the phone went dead - could have been damaged. IMO, as terrible job as the SPD did in trying to id Martin, his father did in trying to locate him that night.
Did Martin's father ever say if he left a message or not? It would be interesting to see logs of Martins phone how many times his father, or his gf actually did try calling after the incident, and if they left messages.
I haven't heard that, but he's had several death threats against him and there are riots pending. I'm sure he's scared out of his skin.
As he should be!
It didn't happen in New York, so why are the parents there? Seem like they're just getting people riled up. Was New York affected by this? No, not at all but some people will take any chance to show outrage. "No justice no peace" is a bit threatening.
BBM
I think we have all seen stories like that, but, IMO, this is not one of them. If you have not already done so, I urge you to start at the beginning.

Well, you know how those people are.
I don't live in New York OR Florida, and I'm outraged about the situation. Is there some new law that people can only protest something that occurs in their state?
Ideally, no he shouldn't. We don't know what happened and he hasn't been charged with anything. I hope people aren't cheering for vigilante "justice" now.

IMO, you are wrong. Not only is NY affected by this, the world is affected. This news is going viral internationally.
