At some point Martin noticed that he was being trailed, Lee has said. The chief said Martin turned and confronted Zimmerman, asking why he was being followed. At that point Lee said a confrontation ensued. Lee says that Zimmerman said he stepped out of his truck to jot down the address to give to a 911 dispatcher when Martin attacked him from behind.

So first there was a confrontation, then Zimmerman walked away, jotted down a street address, and Trayvon jumped him from behind? He makes it sound like there was two confrontations?

Why would Bill Lee lie? He's seen the reports? It's obviously something that Zimmerman claims happened? Unless Zimmerman lied to investigators or in his report? :waitasec:

Did anyone in Sanford notice pants spontaneously combusting about the time of these statements?
Just wondering.....

Respectfully, there was no altercation before GZ's phonecall to the operator. He was told not to follow TM. He ignored that request and did so anyway. I believe the altercation would never have happened had GZ stayed in his car as he was clearly told to do.

MHO

I agree. However, he did follow him and there was a fight - it easily could have been started by TM, which is what I think happened. I wouldn't expect GZ to start a fistfight when he's armed with a gun. Just because he followed TM does not mean he lost the right to defend himself.

OK broken nose you do not kill common!
How about shooting the leg, arm shoulder...
I do not think he shot to kill - I really do not think so.
He himself became traumatized by it and cried uncontrollably for days
why is this not believable?

Allot of great research by many here and posting without hanging GZ kudos
to you guys, but but but....
What happened to humanity?
IT IS HORRIBAL A YOUNG MAN IS DEAD, or that parents have to burry a child
yes it is unbearable, and no one should have to go through that....
BUT HOW IS VENGENCE GOING TO HELP?
Why not wait till we dig up all the pieces and put the puzzle together.

LOOK MORE CLOSELY PLEASE.
How would GZ being arrested be vengence?

Just askin'.......................

How would GZ know that Trayvon was only going to the 7-11 and back?

GZ knew Trayvon was visiting his father and that he did not live in the complex. GZ could have seen him leave and come back earlier or on another day. GZ kept a close eye on the comings and goings in the neighborhood.

Having had the experiance of being trolled(followed by auto)many times, i found that first - i ignore, but start scanning for alleys and such, -then take such escape route slowly, cause i'm cool, sound of auto door opening... run......................................................
or if in an area i think i might get backup - best defence is a noisy or threatening offence,
which in my case would mean going towards the car kicking or bashing the car and loudly swearing and the word pervert, cause you don't want people to think its just a domestic and close their curtains. If the person in auto opens door .....you run.......
A police car - i would stop for

The official police reports documents injuries to Zimmerman...not a claim of injuries, nebulous or otherwise, actual injuries.

http://www.sanfordfl.gov/investigation/docs/Twin Lakes Shooting Initial Report.pdf

An EMT looked at GZ in the back of the patrol car and administered first aid. What about his broken nose???? Why wasn't an ambulance called if his nose was broken? He was given simple first aid, ice pack I'm assuming and nothing for his head. They don't normally put bloody people into the back of a patrol car for contamination reasons. I thought there was an ambulance at the scene but this report says he was looked at by an EMT and given first aid in the patrol car. That does not sound as if his injuries were serious and certainly do not match up with what is described by his attorney such as a broken nose and a cut on the back of his head that required stitches but had started to heal. So something is not right here. How was it the EMT missed all of the that???? jmo

Are you questioning the that the LEO's id'd the body as black, male, or both? Neither LEO said that Martin's face was obscurred when they arrived at the scene. And when you walk up on a body, laying on the ground, at close proximity to you, it's pretty easy to determine race. IMO

Well he was face down and we know he had that hoodie pulled up to hide the sides of his face like you pointed out and his hands were under him and he had tennis shoes on.

How would GZ know that Trayvon was only going to the 7-11 and back?

The same way he knew TM was "up to no good," on drugs, and suspicious. He's psychic.

I'm aware of this. My statement was with respect to this forum and my thought that people came here because they wanted factual discussion and discourse, and not just specious claims and suppositions.

I welcome both.

Glad to have you here :rocker:

In my experience, people with firearms are more likely to avoid confrontations altogether. Those are the kinds of things that get your permit revoked.

Sadly, that was not the case with George Zimmerman. JMO MOO IMO

My understanding is that police arrived mere minutes after the shooting, unless they detained him at the police station for 10 or 12 hours, then there is no possibility that a serious gash in the back of his head had begun to heal...and no possibility at all that it had begun to heal when the emt looked at it unless he's like one of the undead or something....NOT opinion, that is actual physical FACT

You know that is true according to what those 46 complaint calls reflect. He knew what all his neighbors were doing and when. Who was out of town. Admits patrolling the area. He seemed to know everyone. jmo

Do you believe that EMTs teleport with their aid bags? He was most likely examined in the back of a police car because the rear seats are inspected after each person rides in the back of one. There is less likely of a chance he could have gotten rid of evidence while being checked out. It was also probably more controlled of an environment.

Good point!

I'd like to add to your comments LambChop that there is no way the city of Sanford is going to risk taking someone to the jail even for questioning if they have any sort of injury without first taking that person to the emergency department for evaluation and clearance. If they didn't take that person to the hospital because of the injuries, they could potentially have a major lawsuit against them for failure to provide medical services. If Zimmerman wasn't taken to the hospital that night, he wasn't injured like he claims.

Isn't 24 hours the cut off period where they will not sew up a wound?

Unless Zimmerman denied treatment so he could get the entire thing over with and just go see his doctor in the morning. Rides in ambulances cost money, you know.

My employment affords the the opportunity to see the aftermath of these types of confrontations....and I have seen it happen I would not say frequently, but it happens far more often that people would want to know.

About a fourth of the time when a gunshot comes in it is caused by someone who is carrying a legal weapon, and quite often there was an altercation prior to the shot, and the person shot was NOT always the person who started the confrontation

It runs about the same for people who are carrying legal weapons and those who do NOT have carry permits but carry their guns anyway...

People who carry guns DO get into fistfights and those who have guns do NOT always try to avoid a fight, and in fact sometimes start them, and we have to patch 'em up, as best we can, if we can or do post mortem care and attach a toe tag...
As an ER nurse I'm impressed on your ability to tell who was carrying their guns legally and which guns were legal.
