Sanford PD is not the responding officers.

The police report we have is the affidavit from the responding officers. Nothing more, nothing less. This is only the two officers that responded to the scene. This has nothing to do with major crimes, or any other division within the department. These were the guys that secured the scene until major crimes came and took Zimmerman to the police station to get interviewed.

I think those reports reflect more then just what they observed. According to the one officer the only thing Zimmerman said was I shot him and I was yelling for help and nobody would help me. I really find it hard to believe that is the only thing this cop heard Zimmerman say after just killing a kid.

Uh, they released GZ's 911 call. The person who committed the murder.

What the person who committed the actual murder said on his 911 call could sway a jury more than anyone.
Swaying a jury is a moot point right now since no one has been charged with any crime.

How was Zimmerman in fear for his life when he was the one pursuing Trayvon? With a GUN? Sorry but that seems illogical and ridiculous to me. jmo.

If Trayvon got the better of him in a fight, which it looks like happened, he would be in fear for his life during the fight. Not before. He didn't have to fear for his life as he was pursuing Trayvon.

GZ knew Trayvon was visiting his father and that he did not live in the complex. GZ could have seen him leave and come back earlier or on another day. GZ kept a close eye on the comings and goings in the neighborhood.

I'm not sure how GZ would know Trayvon was visiting his father. And you still didn't explain how George Zimmerman could know to wait for Trayvon to come back from the 7-11 if he had no way of knowing where he was going.

Too many years of my life spent reading every document, interview, watching hearings, the trial. We had such a great group here at WS. I do miss that!

Back to topic. I wonder how long the special prosecutor 's team will take to investigate? Probably working all weekend.
JMO

I know!! And here I am waiting for the documents to be released in this case! We're all crazy! :floorlaugh:

Or rather poorly controlled anger/bruised ego when getting bumped on the nose by an (inferior in your mind) scared dark skinned kid do not mix well with a loaded gun.

And if GZ had grabbed ahold of him TM could have head butted him, too, just to get away from him. That could have sent GZ backwards and landed TM right on top. jmo

GZ went after Trayvon, hence he initiated the interaction/confrontation.

We don't know how the fight started or who started it, regardless of whether GZ followed TM.

Why is that? Would you be giddy and rambling about having just killed someone? I doubt he was very talkative, especially if he was in some level of shock.

And how do we know he did not decline to go to the hospital other than a lack of documents that are clearly protected by HIPAA?

The privilege belongs to Mr. Zimmerman, and if he chooses to disclose then there is no Hippa Violation....That only pertains to medical records created by professional medical personnel,

Question is, WHY would he not disclose if things are exactly as he has stated, a bop on the head and a broken nose are being talked about by his Attorney anyway....it's not like he is disclosing an STD or something.

It just doesn't track IMO JMHO and stuff.

Oopsie? Sorry we lost the case for you, Ms. Martin? Gosh, those people on the interwebs sure wanted the information, though!

Why would he disclose?! People here act like they're entitled to pry into Zimmerman's life for some bizarre reason. As long as he's cooperating with police and the pertinent information gets released during trial... I'm not sure what the problem is.

Well, hopefully the dash cams were on the police cars when Zimmerman was taken into the police car and their is audio of any conversation? I know I'm probably wishing for too much?

Do police only have to put their dash cams on when they pull someone over, or do they put them on when going to a crimescene?

That is part of the mystery that we do not know.
Did GZ catch up with TM and get aggressive?
or did TM hid and turn the corner and bop GZ in the nose
and they went down....and something happened

WE DONT KNOW

They are not affidavits. Neither have been sworn to.

We know he cooperated with Sanford Police (who could blame him?), but we have no idea what is going on now that someone else has been brought in to investigate? Time will tell?

I really find it hard to believe that is the only thing this cop heard Zimmerman say after just killing a kid.

Especially since there were early reports that a narcotics officer first interviewed GZ and asked him questions (which can be leading) instead of allowing him to tell his story unprompted.

Oopsie? Sorry we lost the case for you, Ms. Martin? Gosh, those people on the interwebs sure wanted the information, though!

What part is difficult to understand that

1) police themselves stated clearly in that full paragraph, in the link i provided, that they didn't "initially" release them because of the investigation but they since released them. It makes no sense that it meant we're not releasing some of them or we're not releasing all of them.

And 2) they released the biggest key piece of 911 call evidence in the case, GZ's own 911 call? If the concern is supposed to be about swaying a jury, the possible suspect's own 911 call would sway a jury more than any other witness call.

Well, if I had people so mad at me that some wanted to put a bounty on my arrest, and some were making death threats.....If I had any information that might help them see that I actually did have injuries and proof of what those injuries were, I believe I would have my Attorney release it instead of letting people believe that I really wasn't injured at all, waiting to release the information is not going to make it anymore powerful later on ....If he has this proof he has it, and thinking that he is going to ambush the prosecution and the public with it later is kinda ridiculous IMO JMHO and stuff

I think if he is telling the truth he certainly would not lose his case. KC DT lied her way through the whole trial and she's free today. We all want to truth, just waiting to hear some. jmo

I don't understand why if it was written in the hard copy of a newspaper, why it's not on the website? That's pretty big accusations? I know where I am from, they have suspended kids too?

If it's against the law to suspend kids or even threaten to suspend kids from school for being late, maybe someone should be held accountable for that?
Miami Killian High School specifically mentions suspension for truancy on it's website. I have to run out the door, but I will track it down when I come home, if anyone wants. I saw it yesterday so I don't have it right here.
