Oh, and one more thing....I believe it was Susan who'd posted that great "Timeline" that TBO posted the other day....the one with the blue lines connecting the players, then a month by month breakdown of things....

An interesting point (today is the first day I've had to read through it) I found........

If I remember correctly, we had a discrepancy with the dates that DM supposedly met AS. It was stated that she met him through Barbara Jackson in like October of 2008, right? (Correct me if I'm wrong, please) Well, in that timeline on TBO, it indicates Feb 2007 is when DM approached AS about writing the book on him. I wonder where they got that info from? Is there anywhere in the Criminal Affidavit that states when she met him? Just curious here.......

According to the CRA page 3 it states in October 2008, DDM arranged to be introduced to AS about writing a book about him.

Moore met Shakespeare barely more than a year ago.

It started at an annual small-business conference in November 2008 in Kissimmee. That's where Moore met Barbara Jackson. Jackson was the Realtor who had sold Shakespeare his house on Red Hawk Bend.

Ever since Nancy Grace has had her children, she has followed a lot of child cases and cases protecting children. If someone writes her and points out the fact that Dorice accused her 14 year old child of this murder, I believe she would take a bigger interest in this case. Whoever is interested in doing it, there are links to the hearing where the prosector announced it in open court. There were also stories written after he announced it.

In the meantime, kudos to Merissa Green for her excellent coverage of this story. She had the first interview with Dorice, she kept on after this case when none of the other media was picking it up, and she continues to cover this story from all angles. Polk County has a great sheriff, great detectives and deputies, and a great reporter in Merissa Green. I know I'm not the first to say this. I've seen other posters say the same thing. But she kept this story going and kept us informed, gave us stories about Dorice before anyone else does, and gave us insight into the various people involved in this case. Don't know if you read this, but thanks, Merissa.

Joybell, I've been wondering the SAME THING!!!! I would have thought for sure she would have picked up on it!!!! I guess maybe they are too entranced with the Caylee Anthony/Haleigh Cummings/Natalee Holloway cases to fool with it. They MUST to have heard about the Shakespeare case!!!!

Yeah, I wondered the same about Nancy Grace. From what I recently heard though, DDM is considering interviews with Primetime/Extra...but that was just something I have heard.

NG has been covering cases involving children for a long time. Since she had her kids she has no interest in her show or any of the case it covers, imo. She usually doesn't even work Fridays. She covers whatever case there is that has video footage. That way she doesnt have to do anything, just let the video role. She's not going to cover anything that she would have to do anything. There is a thread about this in the jury room or parking lot.

wanttohelp, no offense, but for the record, I really don't do live chat, or IM, etc, and normally I don't post that much on the public forums, as can be noted from my posting count here, considering how long I've been a member. Fine. For the record, I don't want other posters thinking I wanted to have a private convo about something, it was public chat infact Websleuth public chat room. The reason was at the time there was back and forth bantering going on that would have been easier in real time, rather than clogging the thread causing factual information to be pushed back and overlooked, which happens alot. LOL I think people in Florida are weird! Not all bad like DM, but a little off. I live in FL, wasn't fully raised here, but born in FL too. Maybe you have to leave and come back to know what I mean. I hear it from people who haven't grown up here all the time.:angel:

I second this. I live in the city where this stuff occurred, but it's not a depiction of Plant City at all. Though PC has grown much in the last decade, it is still very much a farm town and a SMALL town!!! "Regulars" frequent the same businesses/restaurants. Most people know each other. If we don't know you, we know someone who teaches at your child's school, or someone you attend church with, etc. It's sad (and scary) that such evil resides in my little town. There are so many wonderful things about Plant City, and about Florida, and the residents who live here as well. People who don't know each other, will quite often speak to each other. That's in ANYTOWN, USA, probably, but this just doesn't seem like a town that something like this could happen in!
