Mine did not go off until after the jury left for the weekend. They said start up time on Monday would be 8:30am.

I really love you guys. Ya'll seem like the only people that care about what happened to Abraham and what happens to DeeDee. My husband and I were there today and I couldn't help but mention how all of the people he gave money to were not there. I found out that the witnesses were not allowed in the court room until they testify. But, that still leaves plenty of people that he gave money too that could at least come for a day or two. I have to work but I have managed to take some time off to go.

I'm just frustrated and thank all of you for caring.

Just an FYI....

The link at the TampaBay.com web page (Link below) that we were given yesterday afternoon to now watch the online stream of Dee Dee Moore's trial doesn't appear (or at least I can't find them) to have any back up recorded video sections "on that web page" to click on to review anything we missed.

http://www.tampabay.com/news/hillsborough/

Susan, since you seem to be our reliable "go to" girl connection, and the one who made the original contact with TampaBay, can you please ask them if this new link they provided above for watching the trial as of Friday will also have the backup video links so folks who couldn't watch the live stream during the daytime hours could watch it on video replay, and where will those video replays be available? Thanks, ACR

=========================================

The other site, the one at http://www.livestream.com/tampabaydotcom
that we've been watching prior to Friday afternoon does still have their backup recordings from yesterday trial video stream as of last night on that web page. So I was able to go back last night and watch what I missed but I don't know if that link will continue video streams of this trial, and/or have the back up videos to watch later.

Greg Smith on the witness stand:

- Dee Dee Moore paid him $300 to call Dave Wallace. She gave him the phone number. That was in December 2009. He was told to tell Wallace that he seen Shakespeare in Miami in a strip club. He was to tell Wallace that he knows it was Shakespeare because he found his wallet and it had Shakespeare's name in it. Dee Dee Moore told Smith to make sure to wipe the pay phone down after the call. But he just made the phone call and left. Dee Dee did pay him the $300.00.

- Dee Dee Moore wanted him to make another phone call to Abraham's mother and tell the mother that he was Abraham, and that he was okay but out of town, and that he couldn't come back into town because there was a warrant for his arrest for raping some girl. But that he was okay and he would get back with her. Dee Dee Moore and gave him (Abraham's mother) Elizabeth Walker's phone number.

Plan was that Dee Dee was taking Mrs. Walker to a restaurant where he was suppose to make the call at that time. Dee Dee told him the time would be around 7pm otherwise she would text him when to make the call. She would text him the letter "c" when he was to make the call. He made the call from his own personal phone.

He then met with Dee Dee Moore at the Lakeland Mall. She was in a white Chevy Truck. The purpose was to get together to make a phone call for Dee Dee Moore so they could talk about calls already made and what to do next.

- He taped his conversations with Dee Dee Moore with a tape recorder hidden in a Red Bull can. Recordings were turned over to the Sheriff's office.

Some more that I added after reviewing the recordings last night:

Greg Smith:

- Age 43, Barber 27 years, owns his own shop in Lakeland
- Knew Abraham Shakespeare 15-20 years.
- Shakespeare use to work at his barber shop, sweep floors, etc.
- Shakespeare use to visit his home, even spent the evening
- After he won the lottery, Shakespeare still visit him at home and stayed the night.
- Shakespeare was a very good friend of his, he knew him very well.
- Shakespeare couldn't read and write, very little.
- He could text message on the phone but he would have to ask somebody to type the text or read the text for him.
- Shakespeare still visited his shop.
- He borrowed 63,000 from Shakespeare for a lien on his mother's property.
- 3,000 per month payback until it got to $20,000 then they would recalculate terms.
- Shakespeare wasn't very business like and could be taken advantage of easily.
- 2008-2009 Shakespeare introduced Greg to Dee Dee Moore and that she would be taking care of Shakespeares accounts.
- He began making his loan payments to Dee Dee Moore.
- Last time he saw Shakespeare was March 2009
- After March 2009 he got text messages from Abraham's cell phone.
- Text messages didn't seem right, spelling correct, and grammer correct.
- He would sent text saying don't text but call me, but he would still get a text back instead.
- He was suspicious that the text messages were not from Abraham.

Actually I was watching the videos from yesterday on the first address we have:
http://www.livestream.com/tampabaydotcom
I scrolled down and found them there.
Also, I don't think that you'll get Ann Glover on the weekend, but I guess you can't be sure with a newspaper who works weekends. So, I'll give you the numbers again so you can give then a call:
The phone number for Tampa Bay Times is 727-893-8111
Ann Glover is 727-893-8562, but there did not seem to be an answer machine when I called the other day. When she was there, she did pick up.
This link will give you the extensions for the news desk, the web link, etc:
http://www.tampabay.com/company/search/node/news desk
I did ask Ms. Glover if they could put all Abraham's trial on one page for easier access, but she did not respond positively to that idea. The Ledger had done that at one point and it made it much easier to access information.
I'm all caught up on the trial to this point. But if anyone cannot find the trial or parts of it, the people at the numbers and links above should be able to help you. The more different people who call, the more they will know there is interest. I called yesterday just to thank them for the coverage.

Is this their first live trial to be streamed? If so, I suppose we can expect a few glitches along the way.

Thank you to all who tracked this trial down and keep the Tampa Bay Times on its toes!

Its interesting that the interrogation interview (just before Thanksgiving) that we watched and listened to the other day, was before DD came posting on websleuths. I really felt she knew the cat was out of the bag in that interview, so its surprising about a fortnight later she started posting.
So in this fortnight window I'm guessing that we will hear Greg Smith set up the meeting with the undercover cop and at that point she maybe felt that she was almost home and dry so was confident to come online to fight her corner.

I'm really looking forward to her performance in the interrogations after Abraham's body is found.

Wow! I can't believe the actual defendant posted on here. I mean, really, dude? I feel like a moron for being shocked and amused by that. Sorry, I mean, I've heard of this case, but I've been trying to read about everything on here- and since this trial is going on now, I'm kind of catching up with this a bit now. But yeah, it's one thing for a victim's family or loved one, but an actual defendant kind of blows my mind.

  • #930
Sooooo, what are the chances of her firing her defence team this week? I think its more likely than less likely. Or, better than 50/50 she will sack them.

DeeDee
- 'Abraham had told everybody he cared about what he wanted done, he told Stitzel, he blah blah blah blah blah blah'
- 'I only wanted to help him disappear'
- 'I haven't had plastic surgery to my face, it's all the salmon and blueberries I eat'
- 'I hate horror movies. I don't want to be in one!'
- 'Don't hold me hostage over Thanksgiving, I'll come back on Monday with a, with a ------- din, din, duuuuuuuuuuuuuh, --------------- a TIMELINE.'

Deputies claim lottery suspect a 'pathological' liar

TAMPA - Dorice "DeeDee" Moore was accused of lying so often and so elaborately, Polk County sheriff's deputies wondered if she had some kind of mental condition that led her to create fairy tales and diversions.

"You may be a pathological liar," said Det. Dave Wallace in a videotaped interrogation of Moore. "I'm starting to get that feeling."

It is so hard for me to watch and listen to Dee Dee's constant lying and spinning in those interview tapes. How in the world those detectives kept their sanity (and temper in check) is beyond me.

I don't know who is the best at spinning elaborate lies - Dee Dee or Casey Anthony. Casey got away; I sure hope a good conviction is coming Dee Dee's way.

I am so looking forward to seeing and hearing the rest of the witnesses! Tomorrow will be interesting!

I stumbled onto a website that had the following picture within it.
