*Calendar Call Hearing for both (@ 9am ET) - FL - Adelynn Merrell (3) (Nov. 10, 2017, Crestview) – *Destinee Jade Merrell (23) ("mom") charged & indicted (11/13/17) with 3 counts of child neglect w/o great bodily harm & 1 count of aggravated child cruelty & 1 count of accessory to murder after the fact. Plead not guilty, no bond. DA will seek DP.
Trial was to start on 5/20/19 moved to 7/1/19, and moved to 11/18/19 moved to 1/6/20.
5/3/19 Update: Status hearing on 6/14, Docket Day on 6/20 with trial starting on 7/1.
6/14/19 Update: Next Docket Day hearing on 6/20. Trial still scheduled for 7/1.
6/20/19 Update: Defense files motion for trial continuance-granted. Next Status hearing on 11/1, Felony Docket Day hearing on 11/7 and trial now scheduled for 11/18. 11/18/19: Hearing cancelled. Next Calendar Call on 12/13, Docket Day on 12/19. Trial starts 1/6/20.
