Idaho - when you get the link, post it here. I will send an email to the Sgt. to let him know that Adji has been entered but that we are missing fingerprints, dentals, dna and other stuff only they have. Maybe they will enter whatever they have for him. I know they care about Adji, so the Sgt. may either do it himself or ask one of his staff to do it. It should be quick for them because all the basics will be there and they won't have to wait for the approval/processing.

Thank you so much for doing this. How was it? Was it hard? Now I guess we better go check on Hassani, Lindsey, Amber, and Haliegh. I probably left someone out?

Salem

Thanks again for writing to them, Salem. Hopefully they will be willing to enter Adji's info.

It wasn't hard at all to enter him. Like dreamweaver said, it's pretty straightforward. You just follow the forms that they have. The more info you can add, the better. :)

PS - maybe we should also start working on checking on the missing adults?

Respectfully snipped. I agree. I think I will name NamUs my next "free time" project. It's easy, just takes a little time. If you (or anyone else) will be doing the same, please post here or PM which missing persons you are working on, so we don't submit the same ones multiple times. :)

Dreamweaver, in your experience, how long does it typically take to get the case "approved", so it shows up on the site? Or did I do something wrong? Just hoping to see Adji up soon. :)

ETA: I think I'm going to start working on some Idaho cases for NamUs. So if anyone else is going to be adding some, don't start there!

It does not take long at all for a case to be approved.
I keep track of NaMus of the ones I have entered, and I get updates by email if things are changed, such as, new law enforcement agency or
added dental.
You can also track any missing person case you want to, on your own
'dashboard' on NaMus.

And if people do start to put missing persons on NaMus, please use the search on NaMus before beginning.
I had a problem one time because I failed to do that.

Thank you dreamweaver. Are you planning on entering Haliegh in NamUs? Do you want too? It would be great to get her in the database. If so, maybe a post in her forum to let everyone know? And if you don't want to, let us know and we will get it done :)

NamUs is a great resource for us!

Salem

======
I can enter Haliegh into NaMus. I will post on her thread when finished.

Although putting info into NaMus is straightforward as I have said,
it is time consuming.

Thank you for doing this for Adji - was thinking maybe LE have his fingerprints so that it could be entered that they are available and maybe they also know about dentals. Maybe Salem would be kind enough to write the LE again to see if they know if these are available.

Crap, I am just full of maybes tonight - but really do appreciate what everyone is doing to find Adji. Wish our dear boy would come on home as it breaks my heart everytime I look at his dear G'ma's face with those tears streaming down.

Come on home Adji.

Elepher, have you seen this page at FDLE website?

http://www.fdle.state.fl.us/MCICSearch/UnsolvedAlerts.asp

There are only 6 kids on there and Adji isn't one of them.

[sorry for butting in on y'all's thread. I just saw it and couldn't leave a visitor's msg for eleph.]

Good grief days in the morning why isn't Adji on this alert page ... not sure yet what has to be done to get Adji on there but he should be.

Does anybody have any ideas how to go about this. Thanks LFlorida for pointing this out - the more places Adji is listed as missing the better chance of finding him. It is the Missing and Endangered site - I'd say Adji would qualify ...still looking at the site ....

Further checking on the site LFlorida linked those are unresolved Amber Alerts which means there wasn't an Alert issued for Adji.

Did find Adji on the site though via the regular search: http://www.fdle.state.fl.us/MCICSearch/Results.asp

I would have to go back and re-read but I thought there was an Amber Alert issued for Adji.

Never an AMBER Alert. Only a CANS Missing Endangered Alert. Which has been taken off of the Code Amber ticker. Even tho Haleigh's is still on. And Lindseys. (I emailed Code Amber about this, but never heard back.)

My thoughts and prayers go out to Adjii and his family....

I was reminded of him a bit with the sad story of little Luis...who went missing and was found in a septic tank ..just horrible

I really wonder if they have done enough ground searches?? and what about the RSO's in the area??? I hope that you can get more interest in Adji's case, not just "listing" him but getting another search team, dogs etc out there!

Sad to say it is less than a month till the sad anniversary...Jan 10th...

maybe Nancy Grace etc? will cover this?? could we email or write her ...other ideas?? thanks

A few of us e-mailed CCSO a few months ago about doing more searches for Adji. They did reply, and basically said that they feel their searches were very thorough. And at this time they don't think that more searches would help, unless there was a tip about a specific area.

I do think that we should make an effort to have someone cover this at 1 year. Gosh that's hard to say. :( I'm not sure how effective e-mailing is, especially to the national media. But maybe it's worth a shot?

I just was thinking that the "anniversary" is coming up...so NOW is the time to contact media...the local media in his area...and national...
this could give a real "boost" to the efforts to find Adji

if you have some email addresses...or can point me to a list, I am happy to write (or phone) some :) thanks

You make a sad point here. I'm not familiar with that part of Florida. I was thinking about the general area where Adji disappeared.

Does anyone know if there are any water wells, gas wells, or cisterns in the area? Any sink holes or quicksands?

Are there any canals, lakes, ponds, or swamps nearby? How far is it from the Everglades?

I hate to ask this, but were there any large alligators in the area at the time of his disappearance? Sadly, this is something that must be considered.

I hope that I'm totally wrong about this. But, my thinking is that Adji simply wandered off and somehow he encountered a dangerous situation.

It's time to get attention again and write to everyone we can.
IMO this is a travisity, once again.........no exposure, no money, no tips.........

What I remember from reading so much about the case
is almost all of the above.

This has to be one of the saddest cases here...Appears to be going by the wayside!!

Still waiting on Adji to be accepted to NamUs. Day 6...

  • #539
Hopefully Adji's case will be up on NamUs soon. I submitted a few others at the same time, and they are just now starting to be approved. The regional manager for the other cases told me that it was taking so long because they had to be approved by NCMEC. It looks like they also get additional info from the NCMEC case manager, including info about DNA and fingerprints that I didn't have. So look for Adji in the coming week, and I will post here when I know for sure that he is up! :)

Thank you Idaho4Groenes for all you are doing for sweet little Adji. There's not a day that goes by that I don't think of him and pray for him. This precious boy needs to be found.
