The names of the victims haven't been released yet. She also shot her mother--now in the hospital.

Florida authorities arrested a woman accused of killing her daughter and stepfather, and seriously injuring her mother in Port St. Lucie early Monday morning.

TCPalm reports that police said 28-year-old Alyssa Marie Torres fatally shot and killed her 8-year-old daughter and her stepfather, who was in his early 50s. The incident happened at around 12:30 a.m. at the Waterleaf Townhomes and Apartments, off of Hillmoor Drive. The suspect’s mother was rushed to a local hospital with injuries after the incident. She’s expected to survive.

“There’s probable cause for an arrest,” Senior Sgt. Lisa Marie Carrasquillo said. “She (Torres) frequents the Palm Beach and Orlando area.”
