But he stayed hidden. No live interviews. Thats what kind of killed that thought, for me. But. stranger things have happened than that on these pages, so I wont put it past!
I just hope it wasn't him. Maybe someone that looked like him. It is just too heartbreaking that Diana wasn't with him.

Were deputies at the home TODAY? If so, then I don't see how they would find evidence he was there after all the people that have been in the home since last Sunday! The home was taped off for several days. I would think they would have found evidence at that point, however Jorge had been staying there for months so his DNA is going to be there, so will his fingerprints!

I took it to mean the deputies were at the home of the man who said he gave JG refuge for two days.

Maybe its just me but all of this does make sense to me. I can even understand totally why Diana's parents want to believe he took her to someone in Arizona. To think otherwise is just too much for them to take. Parents often are in denial.

Everything learned about JG shows he is the one who kidnapped Diana. None of what I have read makes me think he did so to take her to her father.

I still think this isn't going to end well for Diana. He may be like Sierra Lamar's murderer and never give up the location of where Diana's is.

IMO

Sadly I agree :(

Very sad news to wake up to. I mean we still don't know where Diana is, and JG hasn't told where she is. I believe he has the answers. Why would you even abandon a car if you had only for example being in US illegally .. only that to hide. :( I hope we get answers and i keep hoping against hope she is alive.

I thought it was interesting that the skillet was not taken as evidence. You have a missing child, burners turned on, a huge mystery, and yet the skillet was left right on the stove. You see it in the video when stepdad was interviewed. I realize it might not provide much, but it seems odd it wasn't taken. I so hope today will be the day this all comes to an end. I pray she is found alive and ok. However, if she's not, I hope he speaks up so they can locate her. We have strong weather coming tomorrow.

BBM, You're right. Grasping at straws, no matter how illogical , because the alternative ' cannot be' the outcome.

I think it's very clear that JG was grooming Diana. Was he grooming her for himself or for someone else?

I am hoping it was for someone else (her father, stepmother, etc...) because it gives me hope that she might still be alive. The WORST case scenario would be he was grooming her to sell, but this still gives me hope that she is alive and can be rescued.

If he was grooming her for himself... sadly, I believe she is no longer with us. Either because he got spooked since Diana/LE caught on to him so quickly or he did what he wanted to do with her and killed her within hours of having her.

Any which way, Diana could be anywhere right now and my heart just breaks for her and her family.

Maybe it's a different skillet?

What I wonder...
Did Gorge have a twin? If more people are involved since a white van was seen at the nearby restaurant that morning but the amber alert stated a tan Malibu was found? What is being said by family and friends in Okeechobee?

Other than the Wink News Link, I haven't seen it anywhere in MSM that JG stayed at the stranger's home in Orlando. I am still wondering about the credibility of the story. I hope for Diana and her family that is isn't credible. The Arizona story seems to be more widespread in MSM. I wonder what the evidence is that the PI found that supports that theory?

I tend to believe what WINK puts out since their station is local in Fort Myers. The local reporters on most all cases are light years ahead of the national MSM when it comes to getting new information.

I imagine since its Sunday the man who let Jorge stay for two days will be interviewed by someone at WINK maybe later on again today or maybe tomorrow and then other stations may ask for more interviews. I wonder if they found his car in the area the man lives in? He could have parked it in a parking lot and then pretended he didn't have a car.

I wish I did believe he went to Arizona and dropped her off with someone he knew but I honestly must say I don't have that feeling. If what the gentleman is saying is true and I don't think he would lie about it... then he couldn't have done it that fast.

And he lied about his real name which means he knew the police were looking for him.

I feel whatever happened was done close to the area Diana either lives in or a surrounding county going from Fort Myers to Okeechobee. The problem is Florida has a gazillion places to put someone where they will never be found. Gators are everywhere in any kind of pond or lake and that area is overrun with water areas of some type.

I hate typing all of this but I think its best to be realistic even though it is absolutely heartbreaking. That is just how I feel though, and I know others are entitled to feel as they do. I would much much rather you and others be right then me any day. I would give anything to be wrong but I just don't have a good feeling about little Diana. I wish my gut instinct was telling me much differently than it is.:(

I really hope the report of Jorge staying in Orlando isn't someone trying to get their 15 minutes of fame.

This^^^

But didn't Jorge originally tell the mom that he was in Orlando, when she first reached him by phone?

okay......that changes my thinking a bit!

( sigh ).

Some thoughts. Did JG originally plan to kill Diana when he allegedly abducted her, or just run away with/abuse her? Even if it was not his original conscious intention to kill Diana, she might have really resisted in the sexual assault, cried, screamed, said she wanted to go home, or said she was going to tell...or the SA was just implemented so violently...

Any updates from court yet?
