I wonder where mom and stepdad charge their phone. It's possible that they charge them on the kitchen counter, DA could have used them from there.
Part of me wants to believe this precious child is alive but possibly in danger. Another part wants her to be with angels. With no suffering.

Where are you Diana?

Good point. I had not thought of that.

Just came in from swimming and spending time with my 3 year old nephew. Had a feeling new info was released as soon as I saw the page number went up. Again I will ask this again where is his white van? The reason I keep asking this is because the white van played some sort of role.in this child's abduction as it was seen near her home around the hours she went missing. And if there wasn't a crime scene in his car (cause obviously they are thinking this little girl is not alive if they have shovels and are searching outside for her) could the crime scene be in the van? You know what I mean guys... Like I just wonder so much about his white van.

You are not alone, I've been inquiring about the whereabouts of that van since the Malibu was located.

Suspect in Alvarez case charged with having child 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Jorge Guerrero, a person of interest in the disappearance of 9-year-old Diana Alvarez, was charged in federal court Monday for possession of child 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬.

[...]

The charges include allegations that a phone that had been in Guerrero's possession contained multiple images of child 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬. The photographs show intimate parts of a young girl's body, but authorities said in the complaint that the child has not been identified and that some of the images were taken in December 2015.

[...]

Guerrero gave investigators the code to unlock the phone after he was apprehended.

Authorities tracked the phone using the assigned phone number and traced it from Orlando to Fort Myers the night before Diana disappeared and placed it in the area of her home between midnight and 3 a.m. May 29, the morning she disappeared, the complaint said.

BBM - He was living with Diana and her family in December 2015 :(

Is it possible the van was the crime scene that would nail JG? How deep is the water where they are searching? Could he have sunk the entire van somewhere?

How far is the area being searched from the place where the man picked him up and let him stay at his home for two days. Man said that Jorge was soaking wet.

  • #806
If DA used stepdads phone to contact JG the night she was abducted wouldn't this have been a slam dunk from the minute they knew she was missing? I doubt she took the phone with her. When the family woke up and she was gone and they called LE they would see the calls and/or texts she sent right? Not a huge mystery there if there are communications with JG or even a burner phone after 2 am and before 7 am.

Maybe I need to go back and re read all the new info but please if there's just something I'm not getting help me.

IMO of course

That was my first thought. Maybe he drove the van into the water or he somehow hid/destroyed the van and was forced to walk a ways in the rain.

Well, me too.
I am depressed and angry about this case.
I truly feel that this little girl was raped "by her friend", then murdered and hidden.

I am so angry, that this man was let into their home, with Diana.
I am so angry that there are sexual sick freaks running amongst us.

I imagine what her last hours alive were like, and I want to mess this guy up. Bad.

Since being a member on this website, I do have a whole new look towards mankind. I don't look at my neighbors with innocent eyes.

That is a deep loss.

I will never understand crimes committed on children or animals. Nor, do I Ever want these deviants to re-enter our social world. It's my opinion that there is no rehabilitation.

These are people that create the worst crimes against humanity of their own choice.

And. I hate them. 100%

It sounds like this case is hitting Nancy very hard emotionally. :(

You can answer the phone when someone calls. You just swipe.

This doesn't add up. If the phone was locked, how was he able to receive a call from Jorge on it telling him to keep it?

Yes but calls and texts can be deleted and you wouldn't know it looking at the phone. And yes, the phone companies can provide records of calls and texts but I'm pretty sure they need a warrent. Which they could get in time, but not that morning. And then it was a "missing child" case, wasn't upgraded to an amber alert until later. Don't know if that makes any difference.

Talk about bad reporting!!!!!! Good grief

http://www.abcactionnews.com/news/s...ect-in-custody-diana-alvarez-is-still-missing

She was apparently taking somebody home in her neighborhood around 2 a.m. Sunday and did not return.

The only report was that one newspaper article that was inaccurate in a number of other respects, so it's probably another case of bad reporting. Nobody else has mentioned it.

I can answer calls on my phone when it's locked, but I cannot make calls.

My iPhone with standard screen lock code will allow incoming calls to be answered but you can't access any contents/apps, etc on the phone itself or make an outgoing call. Anything other than an incoming phone call is off limits without the code. Otherwise the phone wouldn't ring when it was locked. My husband has some work issued high tech security program on his iPhone and it still works the same way.

Sounds like JG called the phone to see if anyone found it...must have been worried about it. That call may have even assisted LE in tracking the phone to the guy who found it.

I suspect that any messages between DA and JG were deleted from step dad's phone before DA left, by one or the other of them.

I just noticed her DOB is 5/17. This happened 12 days after her 9th bday. So she is a young 9 yr old. (8 and a half in Dec 15....ughhhhh). Not that it makes any difference. I was just thinking about 9 year old girls ( I have one ) and how different they can be. My DD has zero interest in texting boys (thank God), let alone men.
Poor girl! Where are you! And I feel badly for mom and the entire family

That whole "finding of the lost phone" situation has me very confused...

No warrant would be needed for dad to access his own records.
I can go online right now and see what time and number of every call and text.

Here are the things that still have me cocking my head to the side:

- his phone was near her house from 12am-3am. The oil would have been on fire from 3am-7am on high.

- a newly 9 year old would have a very hard time acting like everything was normal, if she thought she was leaving her family/ siblings the next morning. Yet, she went to bed like normal, even staying up later than usual (per step-dad- its late, YALL go to bed)

- a newly 9 year old would have a very hard time coordinating a middle of the night wake up and text with him. I had a hard time getting mine up for summer camp this morning! He could never coordinate a "sleep past baby feeding, wake before church, text a man, sneak out the house, let no one suspect any strange behavior". I can tell when he has a candy in his pocket! His face gives it away every time. Oh, and if mom turned on the light and covered her, she probably should have had a good idea of what she was wearing in bed, even though the stepdad didnt see her.

I have more, but I will leave it at that, for now.

Or perhaps he recently woke up from a good night's sleep (hence groggy). My hubby, ex LE, observed that in his experience, the guilty usually sleep fine in their cells. The innocent tend to be too anxious/worried to sleep. This theory, of course, is anecdotal and strictly my opinion.

Every time we watch The First 48 we comment on two things, if they go to sleep in the interrogation room or if they put their arms inside their shirt it's all but certain they are guilty in whole or part. Almost every time. Odd...wonder what the real science is on that. Note to research that at some point...right now I'm too mad this jerk is sleeping in a cell somewhere while a child is God only knows where!!

The images taken in December may have been during the 'trips' to McDonalds. Her siblings too young to know what was going on. Hope he didn't also abuse the other kids :(
