What's odd to me though regarding the 2am timeframe is if the mom was awake to get the bottle for the baby, does she fall back into such a deep sleep right after getting the bottle that she wouldn't have heard anything?

I travel through Yeehaw Junction all the time on my way back and forth to Miami. The Florida Turnpike runs right through it. VERY rural. I always know we're there even before I see the signs as there are almost always deer feeding right along the interstate in about the same spot.

Yes, it is very rural indeed. A couple of gas stations, a restaurant, a large citrus grove, and a whole lot of empty land.

I know when I was that pregnant, I didn't sleep for long periods, so I didn't sleep much..but the 30 minutes I got at a time were actually pretty deep. And if Diana snuck out on her own, she could be very quiet.

Well my boys are 26 and 24 and I am thinking I would have... Due to lack of sleep since they were close in age. She is also pregnant.
My heart goes out to this Mom.

Maybe you'll see what's it like to have no control over a situation. NONE! Powerless. How's it like? Someone to rip all the power from you. Has anything been mentioned about them using cadaver dogs in the searches? If it is the correct area and they moved them from place to place, couldn't they pick up a scent maybe?

Agree. I never slept better than when I was pregnant. Deep refreshing sleep. Wish that so now.......sigh

I went to the store today and saw a little girl that looked similar to Diana and I just can't imagine....it is a child, not teen, not preteen but a young child, a little innocent girl.

Diana's step Daddy works a very physical job in the heat of Florida. Long hours and hard work. I bet he is exhausted some days.

Having so many babies close together, baby still waking at night, and in her last trimester, I would imagine Diana's Mommy is tired. All day up with busy kids, and using extra energy due to her pregnancy, I'm sure she's tied. All this stress now, Impending birth anytime., I pray for her! She needs strength to get through.

I can see how Diana could have left and no one heard her. Even if Jorge came to her window or door to get her.

Yes, but in order to get the dogs in there, the handler has to be with them. With the vast acreage, I don't know how much would be covered by walking. That's a lot of land! I know I saw people on horseback, ATVs and some walking in the videos.

Just another thought about the oil on the stove. Have you ever worked in a restaurant or watched them make the french fries at McDonald's? They have those deep fryers with a lot of very hot oil in there, and they repeatedly use them all day/night without cooling and also without smoke or fire. At home, we fry things in as little oil as possible in a pan, and sometimes it will get too hot and a little smokey. Is that perhaps why leaving the stove on high with the oil did not work to create smoke and fire even though it may have been there for hours, because the family kept a lot of oil in a deeper saucepan? There are so many confused and maddening details in this case...

At this point they are not saying much about the searches. Speaking to any details.

Since they've been searching that same area for a week, I feel they've covered the majority of it, probably what could be accessed. But all the water, and the alligators...sadly it's worse than a needle in a haystack.....they aren't even sure where the haystack is...

Wow just wow. My nerves, so stressful. Can't even imagine what the family is going through. My 13 yr old son has adhd, severe anxiety and emotionally like a 9 year old. Kids can be so trusting. Diana, please give us a sign. You need to be brought home. I am hoping you are not suffering and/or didn't suffer (sob, I really think he took her, did the unimaginable and she is no longer with us and dumped her, no one else involved except maybe his brother for a ride when his broke down)
