WOW! Good catch Shutterfly - I'd have to watch again. I think so..., but I would have to watch again. Give me a minute to catch up on the posts and I'll watch again.

Sorry to quote myself.

Shutterfly - he says "no way, no way, my daughter IS afraid of the dark."

Sorry I misquoted earlier.

They just played part of the 911 call on FOX news - the gf definitely says that Haleigh was in her "pajamas" - no pink shirt or shorts or anything like that.

I know when my oldest was about 2 yrs old we left him with our 17 year old nephew, and 2 of his friends which were girls that were about 17 years old as well..we were just going 2 houses down to a neighbor friends for dinner. We walked to check on him, and somehow while the teenagers were messing around and playing with him they bumped his head on the door frame...

Luckily he just had a bump on his head, but never again did I feel comfortable leaving any of my kids with anyone that had friends over or anyone that wasn't responsible. Especially teenagers who haven't really been around kids, don't realize what can happen quickly from something that seems innocent.

My nephew told me he was holding my son and spinning him around, he probably got a little dizzy spinning and stumbled over to close to the door frame....But to me I was still livid, even though it was my own fault for leaving him there.

I agree, who knows if the 17 year old was even home the whole time? Maybe she went out leaving the kids alone, then returned to find Haleigh gone. Her story doesn't add up, she contradicts herself, and its hard to believe that if she were sleeping with Haleigh right next to her, she wouldn't notice the girl being abducted.

I wish we all could get the correct version of events..

True! She may have left the children alone!!

No, she will be missing 5 years in March.......yes, there is a thread, Jennifer and Adrianna Wix.

I also wanted to add..........please don't be so quick to rush to judjement concerning the father's reaction or lack there of........the amount of his tears or lack there of, his language, etc.........I just say that because having been there, I can say that there is no right or wrong way to react and I believe that everyone reacts differently, some people suppress emotion and some people can not no matter how hard they try. And, it is very difficult to be thrust in front of cameras and give interviews and such when you have never, never experienced anything like that before. My daughter's father still will not do an interview with news media and I hate it really, really bad when I have to, but I realize that it is a necessity so I buck up. Believe me, I have heard it all, my tone of voice wasn't right, I cried too much, I didn't cry enough, oh, did you see her smile?, she used past tense.........all of that and more................

I am not saying that the father or gf in this case are not suspicious, just pointing out that sometimes it is very hard to go on these type reactions. The inconsistencies by the gf are what bothers me in this case. It's so sad that our children are not safe in this world.

I'm posting the link to your case so others can wander over and take a look. I hope you don't mind.

ITA about the emotions. It's too hard to tell what someone is really crying about. I've seen the most upset people turn out to be the guiltiest.

I don't know why but I get the feeling the gf wasn't home when the little girl went missing. I think that's why her story is changing.

Fox News reported that they have confirmed that police will interview father and gf again today (I believe they said today).

I just listened to the 911 call and then read the transcript as well as listened to the father's plea. They are my prime suspect, they did something to this little girl, I don't have any proof I just don't think that the 911 call sounds right and he is a bad actor. His whole reaction is bs.

Anyone find a link to the press conference yet? I'm still looking.

It is very easy to "rule out" the father - all LE has to do is go visit his workplace and supervisor - check his "time card" talk to anyone that worked with him that night. I'm willing to bet THAT has already been done and he probably was at work the whole time. Next is dad's cell - which is probably being worked on as we speak. And, of course gf's cell - if she has one.

Do we have any links to VIDEO of dad or gf? I want to see faces and body language.

Does anyone have a link to the press conference at 2:00?

There is a White House briefing at the same time as the local LE briefing, so us non-locals won't be able to watch!

I don't think him being at work rules him out. Who was the last to see this child besides the Dad and GF? We may have a bigger window of time here.

(respectfully snipped)

I said this earlier in the thread but I wonder, if a boat was used, if they could find out where the boat came from by checking any records at any nearby marinas or anything. Or would that be a no go?

A jon boat is small, i doubt people would keep one at a marina, mostly people put em' on the roof or tow them to fishing spots unless they already live near one.
