As I mentioned in the Mark Klass thread I don't think she has enough going on between her ears to make her disappear this good - I'm not sure if we should be talking this way about the gf-rocket scientist but It was my opinion of her

yeah...that was kinda lawyerly to say it and strike it (in terms of rocket scientist) but I agree... if the gf was good for this one we would have found Haleigh by now.

well, after reading the police report just now I've gone to the dad is framing the gf. There was some interview a day or so ago when he was crying very hard in between periods of talking very lucid about what happened. If I heard it correctly he stated he had an idea who did it and that that the person will end up 'wasted" anyway. then the comment about the "dumb girlfriend" to the officer writing the report. seeing some pretty deep basic issues here. plus I tend to think the gf really does not know what happened. I think she was *asleep* as she says, more like in a pharma induced temp pass out.

LOL that is what I was thinking! If my kids peed on the bed, I would strip that bed down, make them sleep on the couch, and have that mattress sitting on the porch to air out, after I scrubbed it down with bleach water..

just guessing here like everyone else...but I do not see Misty doing the bleach water thing. In one of her interviews (which vary like the wind) she said the blanket smelled like urine so she covered her with a sheet at bedtime....washed the blanket and covered her back with it at 1000 when she saw her sleeping. So many things, tho, get lost in translation so I could be completely off the mark on that one :crazy:

This is driving me crazy -first, how could parents allow a 17 yo to live as a girlfriend/babysitter with a 24 yo man. This is something I cannot fathom.

It may be just me, but that girlfriend's mumbling voice, crying voice is driving me crazy everytime I hear it.

The father (Ronald?) has a large bandaid on his neck...what could it be covering? Hate to say it ..... a tatoo that would cast doubt on his character or integrity? A scratch of some sort?

Someone could have propped the door open with the cement brick in order to take her out of the house without bumping into something?

This is a horrible occurrence on the heels of Caylee's death. Children deserve more.

I would. If it was my kid that wet the bed I would clean it as much as I could then flip the mattress over rather then have my child lay in a wet bed.

I am not seeing where she appears afraid of him. Granted, he was yelling when he found his child missing and called her a name or two..but it doesn't mean it happens all the time and we shouldn't assume it. He could treat her fine when he isn't freaked out beyond belief. I would probably be cussing and ranting if I came home to find my child gone, too.

An abusers mode of operation is to be mentally or physically abusive...then they apologize/give excuses...then be sweet nice...and so the cycle continues. I think he is in the sweet...oh I am so sorry mode right now.

So I know I'm a bit late to the convo bc last time I posted was... hours ago but I just watched the GVS interview and my take on the dad was he seemed annoyed to me. Like he was annoyed at gf bc she first of all said "inches" when he obviously knows how far apart the beds are. She doesn't seem too terrible bright - not to be mean but she just doesn't. For all we know, he's heard many altered stories from her - she said in one interview she woke up to go to the bathroom and noticed the kitchen light on - in this interview she said she woke up and walked in the living room and THEN noticed the light on. I know it's a small thing to nitpick about but then again she just keeps changing small things. When asked about the backdoor, I mean, Ronald - to me - just seemed like "When I left, it was locked. That's all I know."
He didn't come across as controlling to me - he seemed annoyed IMO. Like maybe he feels like there is something wrong with her story or maybe he just things she plain dumb or maybe he's just angry with her for 'letting' Hayleigh get 'stolen'.

my use of the word rocket scientist was dripping with sarcasm when I first said it LOL... I am of the same school of thought
