Fabvab, I totally know where you are coming from. And without being offensive on purpose, I'll try to explain.

Little education beyond 8th grade- and that lack of value in education tends to be passed on from one generation to the next. This results in a hard knock life that includes living from paycheck to paycheck, depending on government assistance like medicaid and food stamps. Since families like these do not place a high value on education, their children tend to have a high rate of school absences. They tend to live in lower income housing like older apartments and trailers. It's not uncommon for utilities to be shut off. Cars are often very old and not dependable. Children often born out of wedlock to teenagers and children of one mother often have two or more different fathers.

And living like this is neither temporary nor situational- it is a way of life.

And before anyone takes offense because ONE of these descriptions fits them or once fit them- I'm talking about people who live among many or all of these factors for most of their adult lives. And such tendencies tend to run in families.
:clap::clap::clap:EXCELLENT POST:clap::clap::clap: THANK YOU

Hey all - just taking a break to "catch up". I've seen the police report - but have not read much of this thread - so don't know if anyone caught this or not.

Teresa Neves - dad's mom - Haleigh's paternal grandma
On the police report it lists her employment as; Alachua Sheriff's Office Dispatcher.

I find that interesting. Don't know about any bearing on this case - its just interesting.

That's all - now back to work.

You got it girlfriend.... and that's all I'm gonna say about that.

If the stepbrother didn't become a stepbrother until after they were adults, they were not raised as siblings and it's really not that far fetched.

And who's to say that maybe they were dating and her mother and his father met as a result of their relationship?

This is unnecessarily critical without knowing the whole story.

DUDE! by the time I read that back to myself five times I finally got it! Holy freaking 🤬🤬🤬🤬! I feel like I am back in Amish country in Ohio (where I grew up)...

SHE IS ENGAGED TO HER STEP BROTHER :waitasec:

I actually find it quite refreshing. There is often so much animosity towards new (step) siblings in merged families...it's nice to see Crystal and Chad hit it off so well.

JUST KIDDING! :ducks projectile vegetables:

so she is going to marry her uncle???

I'm sorry...I wasn't very clear... bio-mom is engaged to her own step-brother (her mom is married to her fiance's dad)

Wow. If that is restraint on their part...I would hate to see their revenge tactics. I think it is shameful the way they have acted. He has been asked the same questions about her and has answered in a very respectful way in order not to dis the mother or her family.

I"m sorry...I didn't see where I was critical. Just statin the facts.

That explains why she was wearing the Sheriff's sweater or jacket in one of the first interviews.

Is there a way to check out if he is related to this
Chad R. ?
We need to see if we can place him in this area, via family or ex con friends, or pre prison friends. Especially that house.
I'm thinking maybe he knows the SO doors down, or the landlord rents to another SO, so he could know him.
But to disappear early morning 9 days before Haleigh is too coinky dink for me. He is the same age as Ronald C. so they may have gone to school together, or , ok I'm rambling, stressed out. I time out myself. I'm so upset.

There is something really creepy with him.

Here is a cached link to his myspace:

http://209.85.173.132/search?q=cach...427822406+chad25live&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=1&gl=us

The interesting thing is it is the cache from 01-29-09. His profile pic is different. I think that is a video camera he is holding. His number one friend is a thirteen year old boy from NC? Have they checked on that boy? Where are his parents? He is on myspace communicating with a RSO that is 12 years older than he is. And now he is missing.

On the cached page for the 29th the 13 y/o doesn't have a photo. On the 2nd he does. I don't myspace personally, does that mean he had just signed up and his pic had been loaded yet?

Do you think they might have all gone out on double dates? LOL

Yeah, the shoe fits, no offense taken.... I just wanted to point out that I myself fit that "stereotype" from the time I was 15 when I left home and GOT MARRIED() until I was about 30. It wasn't because I came from a dysfunctional, uneducated, or poor family. I came from a good family and one that I am extremely proud of to this day. We never lived in older apartments, trailers, had beat up cars OR had the utilitles shut off.
I was just stoopid! I thought I knew everything and that everyone else was an idiot. Did I mention that I was stoopid?

And after he jumped on an outgoing train. I don't like the nearby train tracks either.
did you see that he (sexualpredatordude) had jumped on a train?

Thanks~ That clears up the sweater she was wearing at the vigil with the Sheriff's logo on it!

What baffles me is that let's just say that Misty IS telling the truth - because I keep going over it in my mind - here's my questions (if she's telling the truth):

- did she take the trash out the back door that anytime after Ronald left for work? Because she said in an interview that she will go out the back door to take the trash out sometimes. So she wouldn't have to take it out at 10pm or 3am - just anytime after Ronald left for work?
- did she see any of her family use that door?
- which members of her family did she say was at her house? And did any of them go in the house or were they in the house alone (to unlock the door)?

If she IS telling the truth, then it HAD to be an inside job UNLESS the prep came in the front and went out the back - although it doesn't make sense because of the cinder block.

Bold above is mine

Panthera,

I keep going back to the same thoughts.....and even moreso when I read the Police Report and the fact this g/f JUST turned 17 this past December. Very young and Very immature and from the vids and JMO, not very educated....enough so that caring for two young children would probably get on her nerves or at the very least, make someone very frustrated.

I did it, my daughters did it (babysitting) and I know a lot of mature 17 yr. olds but not all 17 yr. olds are cut out to take care of two little ones.
I'm not passing any blame on her, just know how stressful caring for two small children could be to somebody her age, especially with RC at work every night. She's the one who seems to be there with the kids 24/7 and it could get on her last nerve, especially if she has to change the bed and do laundry at all hours during the night. And ~ these aren't her kids either. On the other hand, I can still see her opening the back door to smoke and forgetting to lock it, Haleigh getting up and wandering out, and the g/f not wanting to tell the truth because of what RC might do to her. He already told the 911 operator he was ready to kill whoever took Haleigh, so it seems he might have a short fuse and the g/f knows it. MOO

And if the tables were turned and Haleigh were lost while in her custody do you think he would show such restraint? He is the person who was supposed to be responsible for the safety of that child. He failed.

I am sure LE has checked out why he has a bandage on the back of his neck. (I didn't notice it there when this all started tho.)

I find it more curious that after being with the FBI for "hours" this morning, as Crystal S. (bio mom's mom) stated...that bio mom ends up at the hospital for "dehydration". I am quite certain the FBI offered her plenty of fluids and didn't have her sweating it out in a hot box somewhere while they interrogated her!

Believe me.......it's difficult to swallow even water when your child is missing......it doesn't surprise me at all that she is dehydrated.

Bold by me. Many statements regarding this case are overly critical. Some things that are being thrown out there are just not right.
