Kim R. lives on shady lane, two blocks from Buffalo bluff Road.
I don't know if she is related to Chad R.

Victor R lives 5.8 miles away

wasnt that for just in the immediate area? i could be wrong, i'm asking.

Yeah, there were 44 sexual offenders within the area. Yikes! I really think someone took her out and it's frightening. It's scary that people come into homes and take out kids but it does happen and this looks to me like one of those.

I was just sitting here thinking about this whole thing. I'm leaning to the side of an abduction but I put myself in the frame of mind that the GF had something to do with it because of her inconsistencies and interviews gone bad just to see if I get any gut reaction to it. What I did get was a very scary thought. If I were the GF, I wouldn't blame anybody for thinking that I had something to do with it for the following reasons:

!. I'm a crazy sleeper and I don't wake up completely for at least 10 minutes. I talk to people as if I'm still dreaming and I don't recognize any faces and I panic. It takes me quite awhile to get my bearings, especially if I wake up startled. It's quite the scene. lol I also don't remember things I say or do but my bf loves to tell me. lol

2. I get extremely nervous talking to people in a crisis situation, I couldn't imagine what I'd be like on t.v. I know for a fact that my face would be beet red, I'd be shaking like a leaf. I stutter and slur my speach when I'm nervous and I have the wandering eye thing when I think about things. All signs of lying, but in my case, that's just how I am.

For those reasons, I just can't fault the GF too much. Not yet. I'm gonna have to wait and see. I also know I can be way off. MOO

At 1st I suspected the GF, but I swear- she is NOT the brightest bulb in the box and I don't think she could have done anything and hidden it for this long. I DO think she has not been completely truthful about the timeline. She seems afraid, not only of Hayleigh's circumstances, but of her own 'parenting skills' being scrutinized. JMO

There are to be no new threads started. We allowed a media/legal document thread with no discussion started for Haleigh but everything else will remain on the one thread. ANYONE starting a new thread will be given a timeout. As of right now there are no suspects and precious Haleigh is still missing so we will keep it on her thread. There is also a missing little FL. black boy who has been missing longer then Haleigh and he dosn't have his own forum.

heads up from windchime.... no one start new threads on this case per the above.. .I saw this message on the main page of missing/located (up above if you want to check it out)

Just to clarify one thing, I can not verify that Kim R is currently living in Satsuma. Shady Lane is just one of her known places of residence.

Yes and if you go back and check it was kiki who posted that... lol. You aren't understanding my question. I am not questioning whether they can pick up scent in as little as 10 (or as few as 2 mins, I researched so know this). I am questioning whether they can distinguish--or ALERT EXCLUSIVELY ON--a scent from eg 2 hours, vs 4 hours, prior. JMO

:parrot:

I was answering a question about how quickly a cadaver dog can pick up a scent of a dead body, how long the corpse needs to be there.

Bloodhounds tracking a live person is a completely different type of tracking, and was answered. They will follow the freshest scent trail.

While we are on the subject of what LE has regarding leads...I would like to mention something.

The leads that LE desperately need right now are from people who have DIRECT knowledge of Haleigh's whereabouts or her abduction. This includes people who live in the area who have seen something, know something specific to the case, or heard something from someone who is involved.

What they do not need are tips which involve theories, guesswork, psychic tips, random thoughts, and other things from people across the country who feel the need to "help" them. Out of 350 tips they have gotten and are tracking down...there may only be a couple which involve direct knowledge so look at the time they have wasted on the other 348. Haleigh doesn't have time. It is their worst enemy right now. Every minute that passes means the chance of her coming home alive is lessened.

We need to make certain we are not responsible for passing along "tips" which take away from finding this child or any other child in this position. While we are excellent sleuths, without direct knowledge of the above things...we have to be very careful what we consider worthy of forwarding to LE.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that it strikes me that the victim of the much discussed SO was probably male. Not to say that this would rule him out in any way, just a thought.

I have been following the case, though not posting and I tend to think that the person responsible was known to the family, if not directly through friend or kinship relation. And while many think that this was a stranger abduction it would not surprise me to find out otherwise.

we should get LP the bounty hunter to go after this Chad R. imo

That is what I was thinking. He might just turn himself in if he knows ol LP tracking him.

Thank you, SS.

To reiterate, despite the best of intentions, a theory is not a tip.

I was going to mention that too, but opted against it. I've noticed that a lot of folks in here seem to live in a bubble. Yes, people get high, live in trailers, smoke, and date girls much younger than them. None of these things make them more likely to do harm to a child. The notion is utterly absurd.

Thank you. I know a mighty lot of people who live in trailers, smoke, date younger girls, etc. who put their kids first and foremost. I also know people who live in sinfully expensive homes, rant against smoking, married their second trophy wives, and who barely know what grade their kids are in.

The incredible level of judgment in this case so far is sickening.

doesnt anyone monitor this stuff?? and what about the boy's parents? they just let him make friends like this on the web?? geez

The new 13 y/o friend Blinky, that seems to have made friends with him just days before Chad disappeared obviously his parents are unaware because their son is still connected to the site.

I have the email address for the Sheriff were Blinky claims to live. I am debating sending the wanted poster, the myspace links and pointing out that Blinky has been chatting with this loser.
