OT - but I live in Canada...and in the province i live in a law was recently passed that makes it illegal to smoke with kids in the car

i'm in ontario too, that's a good law though but difficult to police...ever been in a car while someone is smoking in the winter here? LOL either you choke on the smoke and stay warm or half choke on the smoke and freeze to death because they have the windows rolled down to air out the smoke!

There should be something for the exhaust fan from the kitchen coming out of the roof.

That could be in the "skylight" above the kitchen or older models - the kitchen could have just had one of those old "hood" type vents.

You can also see the dryer exhaust near the back door - looks like little white rectangle.

Yes, there is only one bathroom in the actual home. I am not seeing any chimney vents, stacks, flus, whatever on either picture.

Now, mind you the layout may be a 2006 or 2007 model and the actual home looks much older - I would venture to say late 80's maybe early 90's. So, with the diagram layout - there may be subtle differences - like the windows on the kitchen - also notice the 3rd bedroom in the diagram has a window on the back wall and the actual home doesn't have a window there - just an older model. Skylights look like they have been "owner added". That front porch has seen MUCH better days and looks to be at least 10 yrs old - if not older. I think the diagram layout is VERY VERY close to the actual layout of the home.

I looked at this floor layout last night and IMO that is not even close.

I definitely see a chimney stack in the aerial photo. The stack plus the double window on the back leads me to believe that is either a family room or a living room. Plus by looking at the ratio of the wall height to the length of the trailer it appears to be more like 48' model rather than the 36' model shown on the layout. Has anyone checked the property appraisers web site yet??

how old are they? Isn't she like 48 and KJ like 38? I don't remember. Wow - brother and sister! That would surely facilitate that KJ does know and has met Haleigh many times.

Marie is either 39 or 40, she stated so on NG the other night in her interview with daughter. I remember making a mental note of that because of my age in comparison with hers. She's younger than me. Hope this helps.

Please please please - get someone that knows construction or plumbing to look at that actual trailer photo and just ask them where the bathroom is - THAT STACK IS THE TOILET VENT! I come from 4 generations of plumbers. That is where the bathroom is.
As for the windows - the older mobile homes didn't have near as many windows as the newer models have.

I somewhat have to support what you said.....there are obvious reasons for this to consider: from my own experiences with women I go to group with in a Domestic Violence Support Group....it is more likely his attraction is because its a domination & control thing. Most women in his age group, would not only be above him emotionally & mentally, .... they wouldnt put up with his lifestyle or how he treats them. Remember what he said when LE got there.....thats a very telling sign that their relationship is NOT equal by any means. Thats untilmately verbal abuse and the GF is too young yet to know that that isnt acceptable. Women at his age or older, more than likely would not appreciate that.

I wonder what is taking so long on getting fingerprint results back they must have run on the cement block, the doors, the house, the windows, etc.? I can see DNA or other testing taking longer...but those fingerprints (if there were any) should not take long at all.

One good thing is that if the perp is KJ...his prints will be on record along with his DNA.
Another "good" thing with people in both families having records...their prints will be on file, too. If one of those people were anywhere near that backdoor...LE should already know.

i have to agree...
i'm thinking misty left those kids on their own while she went out somewhere, the perp could have been watching and seen her leave...turning a light on wouldn't have mattered because it was just the two little kids home.
i'm beginning to think misty didn't even get home until just before the dad did..hence the ever changing stories.

what 17yr old goes to bed at 10:30 anyway?

Both dad and gf have phones. Dad said gf was calling him as he pulled up. Now if she was on a land line or a cell - I would think a cell phone. So they both had cells. Wonder if LE has pulled those records yet.

Not much new...press conf. was at 4...still searching..divers not gonna dive tomorrow...both dad and mom were together at vigil side by side (reported by twitter) hopefully they have made peace with each other
