Yea but how often did she really see the kids to know? Crystal got them every couple of weeks Frid. evening to sometime Sunday unless they weren't staying at Crystals and gma really had them.
i think mom and gma might live together.

AC man does exist and LE confirmed he was "cleared". We don't know if he was there in an official capacity or if he was there with the brother, imo. I have not seen anything where she says he was working on the unit, but she puts him there during the time the brother and nephews stopped by to visit. (If I even have this one straight!)
I can wash a queen size comforter in my washer..I can't add in sheets or anything else with it, but I can wash one.
My thought was they are trying to butter her up so she will talk to them....to see what they can get out of her....but I may be way off. Mainly because of the GM's I want to tell her face to face remark.
I have a thought and I'm just going to put it here as I ramble.
As I said before I don't think Misty was in that house all night, I don't have anything to support it though.
She gives detail about the blankets, then she goes into detail about when she found Haleigh missing. But there is a void there in details about what happened in between. Yes I know she says she was sleeping but the skip in info bothers me.
Initially I thought, well she must have gone out to see some friends. I'm not so sure, and here's the reason why...her friends would have said something by now. Even if she and her friends were doing something like drinking and smoking weed and such, I really believe that they would've stepped up to the plate and told LE. Because I think she stayed in the neighborhood.
I'm starting to lean to the fact that maybe she had a lover. She is meeting this man while Daddy is at work. He comes to her after the kids have gone to bed. She sneaks out to be with him.
SS, I'm so glad to see everybody jumping on this. I saw the tape yesterday, and it bothered me all day.
Misty focused way too much time on giving an excuse for a missing blanket, way TMI. It's an important clue, IMO.
Also, near the end of the tape she said "and that's all I know", and goes into defending herself, and talking about how much the kids love HER.
Something WRONG here!
Her eyes were looking down and to the left MANY times. Also looking up part of the time.
At the least I think she was gone part of the time Ron was at work, but the whole blanket story is raising big red flags!
Yes an open mind is always a good thing... However I was going by what the Bio Mom said on Nancy Grace as well as all the threads/documents I've read. Dad picked them up "one weekend", didn't bring them back, and immediately filed for temporary custody, at, if I remember correctly, the exact same time she was accused in court docs of doing "something" to them. I can't remember the exact wording but I tended to believe it since Courts usually don't like it when a parent doesn't return a child at the designated time.
Yes I love my Big Daddy! When I get to have grandchildren I hope I'll be known as Big Mama too. :blowkiss: SS, I am what I am and I just can't (pronounced cain't) be anything but that.
Okay I went back and relistened to Misty in the video.
Misty: I put her to bed ~ and her blanket and my blanket~ my blanket was in the van that they took~so we had a blanket hanging on the window~and I had to wash that~and her blanket , and her blanket was~she had peed on her blanket the night before I guess~ and I was gonna put it on her but it smelled like pee~ so I washed the blanket~ so and I gave her a little sheet to cover up with~and I went~ I come in there and put a blanket on her and then I laid down.
She also talks a bit about the layout of the trailer later on in that interview, she describes a hallway and the washing machine.
Ceeker Said:
I totally agree! This man has a job and he cared enough to fight a custody battle when he sensed the mother wasn't able to take care of his children. Something a lot of men wouldn't bother to do. He's been careful not to trash the bio mom, which I find admirable considering their mudslinging in his direction. He's got a lot of rough edges, but I'm willing to not condemn someone just because they don't live or act like me.
He didn't start a custody battle with her, when she took him to court to prove paternity and get child support he turned the tables on her. Now why did she have to take him to court if he was such a fine upstanding father who supported his kids?
Before you go handing out any medals to dad please read the docs and the sworn statement from Crystal's dad. It is always possible that he took custody of the kids just so mom didn't have it and to get out of paying child support and to collect child support from mom.
It does happen. My ex who never paid a bit of attention to caring for our kids and who was verbally abusive, threatened me with the same thing. Only difference was I wasn't afraid of him. I stood up to him in court. I won and very shortly after, he quite his job to get out of paying child support and stopped seeing his kids all together.
I'm not saying that is what happened here, I'm just trying to keep an open mind to all possibilities.
Thanks, Cheko!! I did miss it. Sorry and thanks for bringing it back up! So there isn't a way for her to be tossed in? That is a relief.
I have to say I wondered that also. But when I saw the picture of them at the vigil it seemed like some "real" healing went on.

You could be right since baby daddy, Chad, is her step brother. Why not all live under their parents' roof? :waitasec:i think mom and gma might live together.

I'm going to leave the thread for now. Seven pages of peed blanket... sheesh!
Now we assume that Misty killed Haleigh and was hiding evidence??
This ain't sleuthing.... this is pure speculation and it's getting pretty sick. JMO.
 I agree txLady JMO too
There are little facts coming out in this case yet other than Haleigh is missing and the world is suspect. Speculation is the only thing we have to go from watching the interviews of the immediate family/gf and other family members.
It IS sleuthing and it is not sick. It is a fact that Misty said these things as we can see her say them on the video. We are trying to figure out her movements prior to when Haleigh goes missing because it is important.
And the Fireplace smoke stack vent thread, I want to start that one pleaze.
Darling, in order to believe Misty may have done something to Haleigh, something would have to have set her off. I can't possibly see a premeditated killing for just the thrill of it. When children are killed in the home, there's stressors, indicators, and bed wetting is one of the classic symptons of child abuse and cause of death for a young child under the age of five statistically speaking. These statistics are facts and don't lie, that's why I'm so interested in the bed wetting. I went to college for three years specializing in early childhood development and zeroing in on abuse. I have extensive knowledge of the effects bedwetting can have on the home, child and caretakers.
I know it may sound irrelavant, but motive is important here. Misty brought this up and made a point of it. Granted, may be nothing to it, but we're missing a blanket, a child and the last known person to see and be with the child is making this an issue/point.
I was under the impression there was no custody order in place at the time? Just the agreement between the parents.
I watched that interview and then read the court docs. In the docs it was stated that he had the kids for THREE MONTHS before he filed for custody. I have a hard time believing that the Bio-mom would be upset considering the time period. I think at the time she didn't really care, wanted to party w/o kids and wasn't worried about it until child support was ordered. If you notice it was after CS was ordered that she responded.
She knew where the kids were, at RC's moms house. I think the mom was trying to come off better in her interview.
That's just my take on all of it.
