o/t: Thanks, I know that Torben (spelling?) guy/girl hosted it. Last time I tried there was a different host but it said "private" and password needed.

There are postings in the comment section blaming one of us for posting the link and attracting too many people so he took the feed private.

No not a secret - I just didnt know. Wonder how old the dad is..

25 is what they've been saying. Pretty big age difference IMO.

rather than me paying for them to have better dental care than I do....I vote for the stocks!

My vote would be gunpowder..

Yes............there's some big differences with this new case.

One big difference is you can just hear in his voice how much he wants his little girl back.....its so heartbreaking.

ITA I was just saying that he really looks like this is taking its toll on him. I know it would on me. Just saying..............

oh, yeah, I agree....sad:(

I'm not sure exactly how many bars you might find in this little town, very few if any I would imagine.

She asked him about the lock on the door and he thought she meant the screen door that was propped open...so he said, "Plastic lock". ;)

Hahahahaha...thanks...seriously ;) I knew he said plastic! :blowkiss:

This is very scary............it appears that Haleigh was sleeping in bed with her brother. Whoever took her came into the house and abducted here. This sounds a lot like the Polly Klaas case.

It really is scary.......It reminds me of the Trenton Ducket Case too.

I know that the mother in that case was a suspect before she killed herself but didn't she claim that somebody came into her house & took Trenton while he was sleeping?

I also have a habit of looking down if I'm on speakerphone, etc. I notice he mostly looks down when he's listening to NG in his ear, but will make occasional eye contact when answering. We have to remember that there isn't a PERSON for him to really give eye contact to, but a camera...to him it's probably a lot like being on a phone.
I learned on that new show about lying and microexpressions that eye contact and esp excessive eye contact is a sign of lying because the person doing the lying is trying unconsciously to read the face and microexpressions of the person he or she is lying to. It is also considered one of the greatest misconceptions about lying.

I wonder when the Haleigh's mom will come forward

They had video of her on JVM's show tonight. She was out of the area when it happened, and doesn't live in the same town, but 1-1.5 hrs away near the GA/FL border.

Don't sex offenders typically groom beforehand and worm into a family? Or is this just such a psycho that they just walk in a house and steal a child?

She did with her mom and the link is in here somewhere! I think in the first or seond page.

o/t: Oh chit. I thought the whole point of "hosting" it was to have viewers? LOL what do I know! I never chatted on there or anything like that.

Maybe, just maybe, the father of Haleigh doesn't know what the age of consent is and he decided to start referring to her as the babysitter or nanny.

I heard on WFTV or WESH this evening that the DCF files reveal numerous complaints about this living arrangement as well as allegations of drugs and possibly drug dealing. But, those complaints likely originated with the natural mother or her family so who knows. Joshua Duckett said earlier today that he is this family's spokesperson!

Supposedly Dad and the GF passed their polygraphs, though the answer on the GF seemed vague. The bio mom is already in the area for the search, she came immediately. The maternal grandmother says she has photos of Haleigh with bruises and that she smelled of pot at drop off. I am guessing the CPS calls are from grandma.

My husband just has social anxiety and doesn't like giving eye contact to people. Because of that, people think that he doesn't like them.

This case horrifies me. It seems just like when Jessica Lundsford went missing. There are 44 RSO's living in that small town of 5300. She went to bed at 8 according to the info on Nancy Grace's show by the father.

I get the feeling he feels GF neglected to keep the door locked... I'll bet there's major friction between those two now.

lol I took his microexpression test and got them all right, surprisingly...i've studied some books/articles written by the show that guy is based on, and saw the same thing...also another prevalent blog influenced by him (which I'm not sure I can mention) and then the guy that assesses the statements...not sure I can mention his, either;) They're often right, and I've learned a lot.

Is that show any good? I want to see it
