In todays presser, LE specifically stated that the bloodhounds drug the blankets out of the house and that's what everyone was seeing and probably led to what was reported.

Lets hope that there is evidence related to the sheets and blanket that they wanted to hold close to the vest and that this dog dragging sheets around story is just that, a story.

Where do I begin?
He would not look into the camera.
He gave up way too much info.
In the 911 call, he began insisting she had been stolen.
Too many inconsistencies in the stories coming out.

I am trying to listen to others but the eye contact bothered me plus the immediate change in personality from crying to a deeper voice in seconds in his tv interview. Other than that, I will wait for tomorrows information. So many SO's in an area like that anyone even one across the lake with a telescope could have been watching. So many possibilities. Hope the LE release information on the LD tests.

Grandma hesitated when asked if the children had said anything about problems in the home, then replyed with "they said they had been hit".

Still catching up on reading, but I have a bad feeling about the cinder block holding the door open and the 17 yr old gf. A man, would easily be able to carry a 5 yr old girl, without needing to prop open a door to get her out of the home, a 17 yr old female would not. I hope I am wrong.... but this seems like some kind of accident? to me, and perhaps the 17 yr old called someone to help her get the child out of there before dad came home?

I hope I am wrong, but something about that back door just isn't sitting right with me.

The grandma stated that the bathroom is located in the bedroom. hmm..

Dad picks up Haleigh from the bus stop and takes her home

Dad goes to work

Gf is at home with the kids and puts them down at 2000

Gf saw her sleeping at ten

Gf gets up at 0300 to use the restroom, notices door ajar and Haleigh is gone

Gf calls Dad just as he is getting home at 0337... just as he is pulling in the driveway

Gf tells Dad that the door is open and his daughter is gone

Gf calls 911 with Dad ranting in background. Phone is hung up

911 calls Gf back again. Gf does not know exact weight or height of child. Phone is hung up again.

LE interviews Dad and Gf. Both take polys. Allegedly both have passed.

44 RSOs live with in a five mile radius of Haleigh's home. Le is tracking each and every one of them. Some are also self reporting.

Many leads are coming in to LE. Some have involved vehicles and the possibility of a mobile offender. All leads are being followed.

LE states at a presser that if they truly thought at that time Haleigh was in the water the media could expect to see much more activity than what there currently is.

LE states that the dogs that tracked Haleigh's scent (blood hounds Iirc) could have been following skin cells that blew toward the water after bringing her blanket outside for the dogs to mark (it was very windy per Le).. per le..."a few of the dogs" tracked to the river.

Haleigh's mother and maternal grandmother arrive.

Local le is working with three volunteer search groups to help them search. some of them, per le, could be arriving to camp out tonight, 11 feb, to get ready for searches possibly starting tomorrow and friday

Investigators ruled out an abduction secondary to a custody dispute http://www.wesh.com/news/18681356/detail.html

relatives of the girl said they don't think they're getting the full story from the father's 17-year-old girlfriend.

feel free to add or subtract to this... I figured it would help to get a timeline going

Wow!
This is great ..
Thank you so much!!

7pm-3am? That's 8 hours...

My apologies for being behind...but was that confirmed somewhere? the hours have struck me odd since the beginning. Normally, 24 hour operations run 3 eight hour shifts:
7am - 3pm
3pm - 11pm
11pm - 7am

What a coincidence, me too;)
I was just struck at how similar the interview was to Susan Smith's. And recalling my sheriff at the time spelling out to me what to look for in interviews.

I didn't find the change in voice strange, it went from crying to resentful, to me...from talking about the daughter to the girlfriend. Also eye contact doesn't really mean anything...at least according to the microexpression body language information I've read. Obviously I am no expert, just my take on it:)

I understand how you could draw that conclusion, though..

It's too early to be accusing family members with no facts. Let's find the child first. Nevermind, nothing is going to be objective after going through the Anthony case. It has tainted every missing person case. No matter who is missing it is related to that case. When in reality it isn't. Just no effort is expended unless it relates.

Too bad. Lots of missing people.

Caylee's case or not, parents and significant others of the parents are the major cause of foul play with children under the age of five. We'd be foolish not to seriously consider family suspect at this point.

He looks to me that he has taken something to calm down.

You guys wanna hear my impression of the dad? (don't answer that LOL)

I think Dad is a very young guy with the maturity of a guy in his 20s.. which he is. I see a dad that is working shift work with hard hours and two small kids at home. I see a guy with an intense desire to look tough and not let the cameras see him crying or in anguish and beat down or shown as a man that cannot protect his own children.

I saw a man so overcome with grief he didn't even register his phone was ringing. He curled up in the fetal position. He never made eye contact because he had nothing to challenge...he did not need to stare into the eye of the camera or into reporters faces trying to read their own faces to see if they bought a lie. I will be really surprised if this man is lying at all.

But then again...it is just my opinion... and the reason this place is so great is because of diversity of opinion and the ability of our members to respect those opinions.

I love it here and thanks for all you other wonderful fellow wsers... I am a more enlightened person because of all of you! (people who think he is lying can now throw eggs at nurse :-)

I thought it had been confirmed earlier, but I could be wrong. I will try to find a link! Now you have me wondering...

Maybe Haleigh was sleeping in her daddy's bed until he got home. It's always possible that she was having issues with adjusting to the new home and needed that extra comfort of an adult there when she fell asleep. This would back up the earlier report in thread 1 of either Haleigh or her dad saying they'd see the other when dad got home from work.

I've had that happen a lot at home, my daughter gets lonely or scared so she comes and sleeps in my bed but when daddy gets home he carries her back to her room.

The grandma stated that the bathroom is located in the bedroom. hmm..

If that is true, my hinky meter is off the charts...

Some manufacturing lines have 6 shifts that stagger so your entire crew is not leaving the line at the same time. My ex worked in a medical lab and got of work at 3am. I don't think it is that unusual.

Ok, but how is a 17 yr old going to get into a bar? Unless she has a fake id, or the bars in that area are letting minors drink.
I know for a fact that my 17 year old has a fake ID ..
