So true Honestly though I think alot of people dont know because they were never informed that there was such a place on the internet to look it up.Alot people either dont have the internet or arent internet savy. Or dont look on forums and such

That is exactly why I think that every sex offender should have a sign posted in their yards. Not everyone does have the joys of the internet.
I also think it would be a good idea for each school system to send home a flyer to parents listing the sex offenders in their counties.

Poor baby, my @ss. She had a LOT of explaining to do! She is the POI and suspect even if LE will not classify her as such.
It is possible..they both lawyered up when it was said he would not be talking to media (not saying they did..just speculation).

You would be right to ask if you lived around here. We currently have someone posing as LE (plain vehicle with lights n all) wearing a LE uniform n fake badge pulling over lone female drivers at night and raping them. He has hit from S. Alabama to NW Florida. FYI, every LE ( no matter what branch, local, fbi,etc) carries a photo ID card which you can request to see and use your cell to call to verify. LE told the public that due to our fake officer looking so real.

We had one here in Arkie doing the same thing years back.

Being the paranoid sort that I am we always rekeyed the locks when we moved in. Just knowing how many complex workers have abused their key access privileges is enough for me. If I ever disappear hubby will know I didn't go willingly and no one smoothed talked me into a car. He frequently jokes that if a uniformed officer in a police cruiser wanted to take me in off the side of the road I would refuse wanting proof that he is really a cop. He is probably right though.

Been there and done that. Made the cop show me his sheild in his wallet before I would roll the window down all the way. He was nice about it. Wanted to know why? I told him it was too easy to buy a police decal and a take down bar [and not that costly to do either] and slap it on a car. Happened when I was a teen. Someone was going out and playing cop on the back roads and grabbing women, raping them and then dropping them off miles from there car.
All he wanted to do was tell me my tail light was out.

I'm not sure how the daddy in this case can get around it when he has to face it down the road but I think LE has said after they get a handle on the Haleigh situation they will look at possibility of sex crime charges against him (daddy) I guess they would have to prove that daddy and minor gf were having sexual contact though. but on the surface seems to me daddy was in the right neighborhood. maybe a lot of other parents in the hood do not mind if their minor children shack up with older men and so that is what draws in these guys?

Has anyone figured out the connection between these family members?

We discussed this Sapp guy in the wee hours of this morning! I had read about it on another site. He lives in the house that M. Griffis lived in when he died in Jan., 2009. Sapp moved into the Griffis home late Jan., 2009. I do wonder how M. Griffis died. The obit did not say and I do not have a copy of it. The copy was linked on the thread by one of our great posters.

There seems to be a connection between somewhere within the bio Mom's side of the family, IIRC. & IMO.

You don't have too, we all got the true meanings behind your post and SS's. hahaha Sometimes we gotta blow off steam.

Like SS says, even though LE hasn't named Misty as a POI, we know she is one and will be one til they get another viable POI. She was the last known to see Haleigh, so she ain't cleared and off the list til she is cleared.

Which it is sad if Misty is innocent, but in my eyes, if the shoes were on my feet, I would be so convincing I had nothing to do with Haleigh missing, LE would be announcing it through horns to get me to calm down. I also would have back tracked everyone of our movements days leading up and would have been able to help out LE with suggestions to give them a direction to follow. Because if Misty didn't do it, then somebody came in the home. Somebody has a link somehow and I would be figuring it out.

If a man walked up to me at the convenience store and stared more than one second at me or the children, he would be given over to LE to investigate. I would be investigating everyone myself, LE would have to snatch me back. They would probably have to knock me out to let them do their jobs cause I would question anyone that breathed.

Our local police department mails out flyers of the sex offenders in our town every year. Every city should do that.

Each time she had a chance, she told a different story. For some reason, she is able to cry when talking about how much the kids love her, but straighten out when it comes to the details she changes each time she talks.
I don't think anyone went into this house to get this child. If so, there would be footprints. If there were footprints that led close to anyone else home, I do feel they would have put out a public alert, or at least warned the neighbors, who would have warned their friends, who would have warned someone in the schools.
I can almost bet that there are still children in the higher grades in that school who still walk home each day..

Maybe the landlord is someone who, for whatever reason, thinks that it's horrible that SO's are discriminated in housing. I heard a group a few years ago that was actually "feeling sorry" for these people and claiming that some had been falsely accused and were now unable to find housing.

My Dad, God rest his soul, was a cranky ol fart. He never let us get ice cream from the truck, said it was dirty. Never let us sleep over friends houses, said he liked knowing where his kids were. Never let us pitch a tent in the backyard, said it would mess up the grass. Called any stranger who talked to us a nasty pervert. Wasn't til I was an adult with my own kids he admitted he was being careful, back then there were no internet sites.

So Donald L. Sapp updated his address to 315 Green Lane on 01-26-09 and lists it as a temporary address.

One of the other boards is saying that Lindsay Croslin owns a home with Guy Sapp in the same neighborhood? And that Guy Sapp is old enough to be Donald Sapp's father?

I am sure I missing something that we already know about this guy.

i don't know what the exact statistics are, but i think there are a lot more "SO's" that are "SO's" for crimes similar to the one ron is currently commiting than there are that are going to commit crimes as serious as child abduction. but they all get grouped together which is kind of unfair, but i guess it's more incentive for anyone to not commit any of these crimes.
