Where exactly does a 25 year old meet a 16 year old?
Unless he hired her to babysit?
IMO

I was 15 with a 25 year old bf, met him through mutual friends.
Course all of my friends were and always have been older than myself, don't know if that's the case with Misty.

Yes, I found the Tallahassee addy also...with a November, 2008 date. The records seem to indicate that he lived at 202 Green Lane in 2007. But he most certainly could still have a key to this place, and I definitely think it's worth contacting the authorities with this information.

Do you have a LINK to whatever your source is indicating he lived at 202 Green at one time? thank U

Bringing this over from the previous thread
I'm sure this may have already been posted but...doing public records search of address of SO Donald Lee Sapp http://offender.fdle.state.fl.us/off...?personId=6441 the address comes up as residence of Jeffrey Griffis.

Maria Griffis: Mother of Crystal Sheffield
Crystal Shefield: Birth Mother of Haleigh Cummings
Chad Griffis: Boyfriend of Crystal Sheffield

Has anyone figured out the connection between these family members?

Only that Jeffrey Michael Griffis, 29, died in Jan 09.

Billye Lee (his wife) supposedly testified in Donald Lee Sapp's trial in the 90s according to a post a few threads back. If that poster is reading, great sleuthing and would you mind sharing a link to the source!? Thanks!

I'd bet we'd see hazmat people in there already..couldnt hide that, and they'd come in before any investigators could finish up, in order to secure the house to protect investigators from chemicals, etc. I do think drugs will play a part in all of this even if it is just all of the key players being hooked on them

And Ron wouldn't be out walking the streets with custody of his son of there was any sign of a meth lab.

I'll be surprised if SOMETHING doesn't pan out from this

Often thru siblings. Also, In a small community, there is less separation among age groups. When I was 14-15, I couldn't understand why my parents objected to me chasing after guys who were 20-25! Mostly they were friends of my older sister's boyfriend.

Couple of thoughts.

First, IIRC bio dad described how HE installed the deadbolt - it was up high so Haleigh couldn't reach it and you had to push on the door to get it to catch - so as for keys - I don't think so IF dad really did install this lock.

(snipped) But that's just rear (side) door right--key could be to other door where cars parked. JMO

I've been told that Haleigh was at school on Monday last week.

oh good thank you!
If she wasn't in school on Monday...I would hope a teacher/bus driver would have said something to LE by now.

I see things growing feet here and getting ready too run...lol We have some posts saying this Lane guy just moved out of Haleighs house and some posts saying he lived there in 2007. We need to slow down....and get it as close to right as possible. We are obivously going to be able to come up with hundreds of sex offenders in this area...former or present and it's gonna cause a mess.

I know..it is nuts. I know that the area is fairly rural, so a few I can understand...the type that just want the world to leave them alone since they did their time, but that many in a concentrated area is frightening...however you don't want to know how many there are in my zip code alone.
I'll tell you anyway, there are 98, MI ranks third in the country per capita for sex offenders...I wanna move.

It's almost like they all tell each other " hey man, come live here." I say LET them live together, them & only them. Either let them all live together in prison FOREVER or banish them to some remote island FOREVER. Personally, I would give the DP the first time, no dealing for sex with a young child. Society does not need these sick ba$tards.

Yes we do. It is posted previously, but the threads are moving so fast I can't begin to tell you where to find it, sorry!

KOOLLOOK posted (in snipped form):

like a responsible thinking adult.

...or like a trusting adult. I once rented a place in a quiet little southern community and did not think to change the locks. In the course of putting things in the closet, I found a bag of weed. I called my landlord, who in turn called the Sheriff, and they both came out and the Sheriff took the pot. A few days later my husband and I were sitting in the living room, door locked, when we heard a key in the door. In walked the former tenant, who barely acknowledged our presence, walked into our bedroom, then walked back out again. It happened so fast and we were so amazed that neither of us had time to respond. After she went out the door, I looked out the window. There were two guys with her, one of whom was slumped over in the cab of the truck. You better believe I've made sure I got the locks changed whenever I've moved since.
