I don't get it. They can't find any record of the cousin? What? Misty doesn't know his name? Craig R. said they looked someone up and showed Misty a picture, but she said it wasn't him. No one in her family knows where the cousin is? No one has a picture? Did she just now come up with this? If she told this to LE on day one, LE would have tracked him down by now or there would be a picture out there or something. Please.

Misty is actually 17, so in 05 that would have made her 13. I thought this one might have been a match as his victim was 15 if I was reading this right...but now doing the math it doesn't compute:

Hi Kelly, Even with a time delay if there was one, it took a loooong time for the bio-mother to start answering Geraldo. It was about the weakest, most unemotional plea for the return of a missing child imaginable {until she started crying, when she had to hide her face in the shoulder of her mother ] I know I am pretty critical.

I think they all know what happened and the public is being left out at this point in time. IMO something was missing in what we saw and heard tonight about that family. Adding in after all these days the gun and distant cousin - I think it is hogwash to try and muddy the waters about what really happened.

OK, that is how I feel too but I haven't wanted to say it. It sounds so ludacris (sp?) unbelievable, bizarre. It's the emotions of both parents and the GF that just seem fake to me. I know everyone is different, people react in different ways but this has been like watching really bad acting. as I mentioned before, I worked in the court system with victims of family violence for decades. I have seen a lot of genuine despair and a lot of fake, put on, deceitful tears. I can tell the difference. But I can always be wrong.

When the baby girl is home safe and sound and we learn that no one we know was involved, I will be so happy to come here and make a public apology to every last one of them. I hope I get the chance to do that.

I really thought someone posted the actual case docs. It was filed by Lisa Croslin (Misty's mom) on behalf of minor Misty. IIRC it took place in Daytona Beach court records. He got time - and we all surmised that he was probably in jail - but it had been long enough that he possibly could have just gotten out. I'm looking and searching and looking and searching - but can't find it - I think we all discussed this on Friday maybe?

This is a story that she told Geraldo's brother...not LE. He then took it to the police they found one guy with the right name...and Misty said it was not him. Had this been a true story she would have told LE right off the bat.

This is nothing more than Craig R. taking advantage of her and inventing bombshells.

we have 2 in my town. disney world florida is surrounded by 1400! check out la, ny, chicago. check out all of the theme parks that you can think of. i posted a thread in the parking lot about so's and vacation spots / amusement parks - it's ridiculous how many so's live and work around these areas where they KNOW children will be. makes me just sick!

I checked when I moved here and there were much fewer than there are now. In fact, I found that there was one who lived a block over and two blocks down and then realized when I checked the address that it was a guy that worked with my daughters dad! For a plumbing company!! He goes into people's homes. I told Livy's dad what I saw and had him see what he could find out. The guy LIED, because you know I went and checked the court sites. So someone then anonymously complained to his job and he got fired! Now he works for another plumbing company!! I'm workin' on it! :crazy: Are there no laws on where these people can work? No kids in the houses? I think that the employer should be required to ask the people if there are children in the home and notify them that they may be sending an SO over.

There are two at the end of my street (which is two blocks long) that live next door to each other and across the street from the park. Like three houses down on the street at the end of that block. Thank God I live at the far end of the other block! Are there no laws about the distance they can live from each other and distance from parks and schools?? I really feel like I have to do something about this!

So, Craig Rivera talked to Misty, she wont be interviewed on camera, but tells CR that she was molested and he visited not too long ago, "no, that picture is not him", but ooh yeah, he stole a gun, she hasnt told police, but tells CRAIG RIVERA???

Just backed up tape and listened to CR again. CR said that Misty told him about cousin from Tn who visited recently that "messed with" with her and her cousin when she(Misty) was 13. Geraldo asked CR if Misty has spoken with LE about it and he said "apparently". Nothing was said about Misty telling CR first.

Unfortunately, I think the bio mom is a drug addict, or a former addict. The bio dad had a lengthy record for possession of BAD stuff, and the mom lost custody. That tells me crack, heroin, meth, etc...something bad. JMO JMO JMO JMO

Thank Goodness for Kimberly Guilfoil {sp} whose every word makes such perfect sense.

I have a friend here tonight who listened to the show and thinks the reason there are so many SO's in Florida is because their laws on legal age are so young - at age 16 or 17 they are considered a sexual adult.

Gee, here in Oregon the newly elected Mayor of Portland might be recalled from office after 6 mos. One main reason is he had sexual contact by a {really two, one was in the Mayor's car } 1+ minute kiss in the men's bathroom at City Hall before the kid turned 18 - the legal age. People who live here are totally P*ssed off about what he did!
