Like I have said in the past, I'll offer my apologies once it is proven they had nothing to do with it. I would much rather point the finger and be wrong, than not point a finger and be right..

Yup. I have to agree. We are not here to be right or wrong anyway. We are here to obtain Justice for victims.

Haleigh is a victim. It does not matter who is involved as long as they pay for her going missing. I do not feel sorry for the liars, the people who cover for them, or those that could have saved her from a bad situation. They are all just as involved and guilty of allowing it to happen as the one who finally made certain the victim could not speak on their own behalf.

It was never mentioned that Jeremy Miller is a cousin to Misty people are just assuming this. We really have no clue if this is the person she was even referring to. People are jumping way ahead of the game here and things are getting really confusing.

There are distance laws. I think it's 1000 feet from a school or playground. I'm very passionate about this SO stuff. You see, it doesn't even matter if they get castrated...they still have fingers, toes, tongues...sorry to be so graphic...but it's all in their heads. They have a sickness that worse than polio, imo, and they should all be shot or put out of their misery. Unfortunately, it's against the law. We need a complete overhaul, if you ask me. A RSO can rape & sodomize a kid that less than 10 y/o and get a few years in jail, some even walk away with time served...but hold up a store without shooting somebody and you could get MANY years...impersonating a cop gets you more years than a first time sex offense! We're on the right track, I think, but obviously it's gonna take a bit more time.

I agree, complete overhaul of the laws regarding the SO's It's sick and our country needs to fix it. Now not later.

Yeah I'm a little confused with people saying she didn't tell LE. I'll have to watch it again but I don't remember Craig saying that. I just remember him stumbling a bit when GR asked if she told LE and then Craig went into the she was showed picture story. I think Craig hesitated because Misty told him she went to LE not that LE told him if that makes sense.

I have been advocating for this since 1984! Would you believe that it's gotten worse with time? Criminals have more rights then they have ever had. Especially SO's. JMO

I think you hit on something we all could use. I know I have all kinds of repairs folks, carpet cleaners, delivery people coming to my home. I think we might be wise when we call for services to ask the first and last name of ther person who is coming to do the work. Soon as you hang up, check them out. Find out they are a SO, call the co back & tel them you do not want this person in your home & let them know why. I would take it a step further & tell them I would not do business with them since they either dont do bacground check s or dont care if they are hiring sex offenders.

Good idea. How would a business person make it known in an ad that they weren't SO's etc...LOL "I am not a "sex offender" here's the link. LOL!

OK, that is how I feel too but I haven't wanted to say it. It sounds so ludacris (sp?) unbelievable, bizarre. It's the emotions of both parents and the GF that just seem fake to me. I know everyone is different, people react in different ways but this has been like watching really bad acting. as I mentioned before, I worked in the court system with victims of family violence for decades. I have seen a lot of genuine despair and a lot of fake, put on, deceitful tears. I can tell the difference. But I can always be wrong.

When the baby girl is home safe and sound and we learn that no one we know was involved, I will be so happy to come here and make a public apology to every last one of them. I hope I get the chance to do that.

Me too Gracenote. We could always be wrong about this. But I do know that after years of Sleuthing, so often the 'ole gut feeling that comes from reading about the case, is right on. Unfortunately.


Something else I haven't even dare say yet is I worry about whether Haleigh was ever hit or slapped. She gives out a beautiful countenance, so I know she knows she is loved. xox

Right I confused too. When asked if Misty told police he said "apparently" and went into the picture story. We don't know if Misty or her cousin ever reported the offense of their TN cousin. We don't know if he has ever been charged with any offense or what his last name is.

If this child turns up dead (god forbid), the only way mom will get money off that life insurance policy that she took out on her after Haleigh almost drowned is to provide a death certificate. From my understanding, only the next of kin can get those death certificates.. I know when my grandmother's boyfriend passed in Florida, he did not have a next of kin, and because my grandmother wasn't listed (although they were together for 40 years), his life insurance sits unable to be claimed because she could not get the death certificate.

Well they do have family from TN. On Lindsy's myspace page there is a picture of 3 kids and the caption says family from TN
