I think that too most of the time, however then we all still have to pay for them. I say to bring our boys home from Iraq and Afghanistan, and suit these SOB's up and send them to the front lines. GRRRRR...

I forgot to quote the poster who thought that dad didnt know about cousins visit, and so I was answering, saying if he didnt know cuz visited, then who did the gun being gone get blamed on. I think if the story is true (big IF) dad must have known cuz was there, b/c his gun was gone...

OK gotcha. Dad could have known about the visit (if true) but not about the offense on Misty.

I felt that Crystal wanted to say more about Misty and her ex. She kept her mouth closed but it seemed as if she wasn't being truthful when she said she didn't think they were involved in anyway while speaking to Geraldo.

Did anyone else notice that??

I'm going to take it at face value. A missing child is far more important than the he said, she said issues over a custody battle. Plus, if Misty or Ron/Misty are involved in this, her tossing out carp from the past is not going to help, only hinder.

me too. i think LE may have told them to not say anything bad about ron and misty to lure them into a false sense of security.

i think that jeremy miller was misty's boyfriend. i guess it wouldn't be too surprising if he was her cousin too. seriously though, i don't think she was referring to him. i thought craig said something about same last name as misty? or did he mean a SO with same name that misty named but she said it was wrong guy?

you would hope she wouldn't be dumb enough to make up this story about the cousin. her family would have to know that it was BS. would they turn her in? wouldn't ron know if this was true? (unless the cousin came all the way from tenn and then only stayed for an hour while ron was at work). if ron verifies the story about the cousin, then i would believe that it is either true or he and misty are in this together.

It's also possible Crystal's Mom realized that Ron will kill Misty if he figures out she's been lying. They are probably scared for her. Maybe Junior was able to tell them that Misty goes outside, but she comes back. No telling what they learned from him last weekend. But no doubt they know his temper.

While watching GR (blech, but desperate for info) one thing, among a hundred, that bothers me about the Biomom's plea for Haleigh's safe return is not one time did she mention Haleigh's illness Turner's Syndrome. From what I have read, this syndrome can effect so many and parts of the body and illness is quite frequent. One would think Biomom would plead for her return due to her illness and need for her medication, etc....just a thought.

(snipped) Yes, if bio mom had to administer any meds eg during even every other weekend visitations, it would be a glaring omission ETA for a mother who believes her child may be alive. IMO2.

I didn't watch, however I can almost bet that LE or someone has let bio mom know that because Ron has custody that he is also next of kin. If this child turns up dead (god forbid), the only way mom will get money off that life insurance policy that she took out on her after Haleigh almost drowned is to provide a death certificate. From my understanding, only the next of kin can get those death certificates.. I know when my grandmother's boyfriend passed in Florida, he did not have a next of kin, and because my grandmother wasn't listed (although they were together for 40 years), his life insurance sits unable to be claimed because she could not get the death certificate.

Ok slow down. No one has said Crystals parental rights were terminated, which would be the only scenario for the above regarding next of kin and life insurance. Ron has 'primary physical custody'. Not a thing has been mentioned about legal custody. Two very different things.

The same way that he is going to help the defense say that SODDI. It won't fly with reasonable people...but ONE is all they need. Watch for in this case...some "team" to come in and take over. It is coming. The Undisclosed person/entity has seen the writing on the wall.

There was a chance especially in those first few days (even now a very slim one) that H is alive so why not more reward $$$$$? I don't get why nobody wants to pony up :waitasec: OTH! I do get why the donor (s) were so eager in that other case to push it to $225,000..There wasn't a chance in 'heaven' after 31 days

LE knows better. They still have the house. They still have evidence that has come from the house. There is still no child. They are more than likely bugged now..plus the tons of inconsistent statements..don't forget that they have not released any results from polys (and they would have if they passed), they have not cleared the family of any wrong doing. They are saying that everyone is suspect..now no ground searches..
They know plenty..I feel they are just waiting on those preliminary reports to come back off that block and the stuff they found in the house before they pull out the cuffs.
They are literally building a case before the chance of someone obtaining a lawyer..
ETA: Don't forget that Caylee was considered missing even when they knew what was in the car, they just had to wait for the official paper to say it..
Haleigh's case has been treated "AS an abduction" If it were they would say it "IS an abduction"

I have been thinking that there is a good possiblity the Gf is a cousin of the Dad seeing as she is 17. It could just be bad reporting on their part that there was a cousin there. But, with all the relatives, Mom being with step brother, and all the marriages it's possible, Anybody know how to figure out if they could possibly be related?
