the media reports in the begining though they had alot of things wrong one has bothered me. They stated a 17 yr old cousin was there. I have been thinking that there is a good possiblity the Gf is a cousin of the Dad seeing as she is 17. It could just be bad reporting on their part that there was a cousin there. But, with all the relatives, Mom being with step brother, and all the marriages it's possible, Anybody know how to figure out if they could possibly be related?

Ok - I stopped. Took several huge deep breaths. And decided to start with what we know. I went back to the police report.

There is a witness completely blacked out. Any ideas on who this is? I was thinking it might be Jr.

Then in the narrative - there is an entire paragraph blacked out - right after it says that Teresa (paternal gma) provided a school picture of Haleigh.

There is also a sentence or two blacked out in the middle of the description of the dog tracking.

Any thoughts on what LE decided should NOT be released in an initial police report on a missing 5 yr old?

There was a chance especially in those first few days (even now a very slim one) that H is alive so why not more reward $$$$$? I don't get why nobody wants to pony up :waitasec: OTH! It's also possible Crystal's Mom realized that Ron will kill Misty if he figures out she's been lying. They are probably scared for her. Maybe Junior was able to tell them that Misty goes outside, but she comes back. No telling what they learned from him last weekend. But no doubt they know his temper.

Maybe Misty's brother told them that she goes out at night, sometimes comes to his house. Doesn't he live right behind Haleigh's house? I'd love to know if Misty's brother took a LTD. Did he really come over with the kids? Could she have been over at his house when Haleigh disappeared? If so and maybe the brother admitted it to LE, would they keep it from Ron to protect Misty?

Good points. Could be why LE announced at the 4pm presser they were basically concluding the ground search- or at least what I got.... It's possible Crystal allowed Jr to talk to them while she had him for visitation this weekend. (and before the custody thing comes up. Ron could have primary residential custody and they could share equal legal custody)

My thought was Jr. too, and the dogs went to Misty's bro's house and they blocked out the address.

Thanks so much for the link, this stuff is fascinating and I can't believe I missed this website ! I just watched the Greta interview again and can't believe how young Misty looks in that video, although the most concerning thing is the control issue with the Dad...it's obvious. When he turns and looks at her, my gosh...and she is almost too scared to speak. They just seem so off in their responses, the truth happens one way, their is no variation to a truthful story.

Funny, I was looking at the report also, I went to Crystals myspace to see if she had been bought as a pet by anyone..(sorry, couldnt resist) and there is a myspace for Haleigh. I found the link to the report on there. I noticed the blacked out portions as well, one that got me was that when the officers were searching, they got to a point, and then blacked out the rest. Why? Why black out where Misty walked to?? also the cassette tape said 1 tape - white.
This person is a friend of Chad's (I THINK) and it seemed to want to nudge you in the direction that Misty is lying, there are big letters on there relaying the 911 call, and Mistys words, but also some video of bio mom at the vigil.... seemed weird, IDK...

Ah, OK. I was trying to seriously figure out what to pray for...after Brooke...I guess I should pray that they don't suffer no matter the outcome. (sigh) It is sad we can't pray or only hope they are simply still alive and will come home anymore.

Hmmmm............sounds like Putnum County has checked into Chad Reynolds, and don't think there's a connection.

Geraldo is interviewing Crystal and her mother Marie. She says RJ knows what's happened. She says they've put their problems aside and have come together with Ron and Misty. Marie says they're focused on Haleigh, and have put differences aside. At bottom of the screen it says "Grandmother feels Haleigh is not in Florida anymore."

Who is RJ?
