Dogs went to the pond first, then the outbuilding, then followed a route north of the home (assuming the long driveway), left onto Monroe left onto and around Buchanan Circle, right onto Monroe, pass-thru redacted, right onto Buffalo Bluff and end at railroad crossing (yellow route).

The red route is an alternative route from Monroe to Buffalo Bluff.

Do we know the train schedule for that crossing ?

It's not been discussed at length, a mention here and there, by me one time.

I'm wondering though, because Ron was Misty's meal ticket, shelter and means of a better lifesstyle that what she had been living for a while. He got the nice mobile home for them. Worked 12 hour shifts, crane operators make up to $35.oo dollars an hour plus per diem on some jobs. His age and experience though, I'm leaaning to him being on the learning scale of a crane operator and probably making around $25.00 an hour plus over time and a half which means he was brining him around $1,500 weekly, not bad pay, especially from Crystals stand point.

Since I am a fence sitter, thinking Misty is involved and number 1 POI, a pregnancy, the bed wetting, and her wanting her child to have it all makes sense to me. Just pure speculation on my part. No facts to substantiate.

Drinking will make you get up to pee in the middle of the night. When one of the news people NG or GVS asked 'where you drinking', Misty looked down then said NO! lie?

No way is he making that kind of money in Palatka Florida.

with so little confirmed info, i have another possible theory:

misty has mostly been speculated on as an irresponsible, heavy-drug using party girl. this very well may be the case, but i've had another idea this morning.

it sounds like she has probably had a pretty tough life. as rough as he seems to many of us, ron may be the best thing that ever happened to her. a lot of girls her age only seem to care about their social lives, but i think some also love the idea of "playing house" and being a mother, and that is really what they love to do.

so here is another possible scenario: misty has brother come over because she doesn't want to be alone with a/c guy. she's been abused in the past and is afraid to be alone with strange men. her brother comes over and brings his kids to play with ron's kids. they are playing outside. a/c man leaves and they start to round-up the kids and......no haleigh. the search for her and find her floating in the pond. if ron finds out about this.....he'll either kill them or in the least end their relationship and kick her out on the street and maybe they'd be charged with child neglect or something. other option.......hide the body and come up with the abduction story.

this a/c guy could really provide some important simple info as far as if he saw haleigh, and if the kids were playing outside. the exact details may not be right but just any kind of accidental death and hiding of the body by either misty or misty and her brother seems like a distinct possibility.

I know interviews are important but so is (kidnapper, maybe Haleigh? ......my gkids know important numbers .....or someone who knows a clue?) JMOO

It is quite possible it was a text message and not a phone call. I have different ring tones for both. If it was a text message, there is no need to pick it up immediately.

Does anyone think it a little odd that the bio mom's mom (grandmother) stated on Geraldo last night she had a strong feeling that she thinks Haleigh is in Georgia or Alabama...and she repeated this over and over. What would give a person a feeling such as this without knowing something. Is she psychic?

I have read all of these threads but I must have missed the the link to where Misty was on drugs. Could someone please point me in that direction please?

I am sure that with Ron's job he has to be tested for drug use often. I find it hard to believe that he would allow drugs around him, his home or his children.

As for Misty being "stoopid" she is a 17 year old girl who has had the most horrible thing happen to her. I am not sure how I would act if this were happening to me. If fact, I really haven't met anyone who is "stoopid" in my lifetime, just people who make bad decisions. It appears that Misty has had a rough life for someone so young.

The changing stories from Misty really don't bother me. If any of you have ever been in a "dramatic" situation you would understand where I am coming from. The first report is never like the second or the third simply because you are so upset that literally you cannot think straight. If you have ever been in a convenience store you may see tape by the door with markings of 4', 5', 6' etc. The first thing you train a clerk to do is to look at that as they are leaving the store because 7 out of 10 times the first description they give is wrong. It's not that they are lying it's just that it is so dramatic for them and things get a little scrambled. Details are remembered as you calm down...

I really think that it's one of the many SO that live in the area. It's really not that hard to determine habits of people. It appears that they live in a secluded area.

I guess what I am saying is that Misty is only 17 years old and if she is a "stoopid" as some think I would hate to think she is reading all of the stuff about her.

I agree with you. My gut is just telling me a SO did it. I don't know. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. But right now, I just want them to find Haleigh like we all do.

That's what people often think, but my husband does it ALL the time (looks down when any questions is asked)! And he's the most honest person I know. And I'm always yelling at him for it, because at the very least I think it makes people think he's not paying attention.

I've had the Today Show on all morning and the local news briefs keep mentioning that they want to talk to him about Haleigh.

They did mention that he was a RSO in Marion County but that he has known ties to Putnam County. They are specifically stating that he is not a suspect but that they want to talk with him.

My problem is this:
Misty claims to of woke up at 3 she distinctively remembers 3.....then her story....
ok if she seen Haleigh was gone / door open etc etc Normal people would of ran to the phone called 911 OR ran outside to start searching for her / calling her name LOOKING for her/ had I thought someone snatched my kid I'd not be outside the door without the other baby in my arms / to leave him in the trailer alone to fend for self in case the kid stealer came back again.
Dad comes home has to tell her to call 911! He is cursing like a mad man can be heard on 911 tape / why wasn't he outside looking or yelling her name? Taking the car up & down the driveway... using the headlights to the car??? If it was my baby asleep I'd not leave him he'd be in my arms.
So what exactly did Misty fo for 1/2 hr??? That 30 minutes would of been 80 hours long unknowing about a child... During this where in the name of goodness was Jr? Not a word about him....he slept thru all that screaming???

I'm afraid I'm guilty of making assumptions about Misty. And I definitely hear what you're saying.
