Dumb question alert:
If Misty is 17 and has been questioned extensively, why have we not seen a legal guardian?
If there was a parent o guardia, I would be sure that the media flocking around would have gotten photos by now. Why aren't there any?
Earlier, my hinky meter was going wild, now I am just confused.

We have many photos of Misty's mother. Someone here even has one as their avi or did! She has been beside Misty in a number of interviews. Her face is all over the myspace pages with her kids, too.

I called an AC guy when my heater stopped working. The heater/ac is in the same unit inside the house. the compresser and fan for AC is outside.

I was thinking the same thing, cajun. This could be a possible reason everyone was sleeping in the same room--and a possible trigger for violence. A child wetting the last blanket on a cold night when the heater is broken. JMO

Anyone know what the temps were like that night?

I've turned on the AC many times this past winter. Even though the north was cold and snowy, most of the south was not. it's hot today and I just kicked on the AC

I hear you! It's hard for people up north to grasp this, but it's miserable sleeping when it's warm and humid. I turn on the air half the time just to dry the house out and get that damp feeling out (and to get the damp "smell" out). I can't imagine how damp a trailer might get.

Sorry if posted b4, has anyone else considered the idea there may have been two perps, ie one waiting in a car, one who entered trailer or something? I doubt it, I guess, but the way SO's "colonize," seem concentrated in that area, and are many related in one way or another (landlord, tenant, relative etc) it's possible. Sickening thought. JMO

So glad you asked! I came in late and have been trying my best to catch up....but this topic moves FAST!

I still haven't come across the info that has been dug up from RC's past! I'm still clueless, but don't have time to read all 17+ threads! Especially since i'm also still following the Caylee case.

I first thought this abduction had a connection to the relatives or AC guy in the house at 5:00 that day. Not sure now, but

I know WillenFan thinks that Haleigh must have known this person and went with him/her? willingly. If her footprint was on the path in the woods this would seem likely; otherwise this person would have carried her or there would have been more signs of a struggle?

I'd like to know what other people think. Did Haleigh go with this person willingly or not? If so what do you think was the ruse?

First Coast News is on right now, commenting on the 4:00 press conference. The reporter on scene showed the paternal grandmother at Ron's tent.........showing junior asleep on a cot, saying he feels closer to Haleigh there at his father's tent. It appears that Ron's mother, TN is staying in the tent with Ron and Misty, saying they've got propane heaters but it's still chilly at night.

The reporter said that detectives were at Ron's tent for about an hour this afternoon re-interviewing Ron and Misty. The reporter asked Misty if she had taken a lie-detector test and she said "yeah", but didn't remember when. It was brief, but I thought Misty looked out of it.

Browning-Pearce Elem., about 4 miles away from Haleigh's. Interestingly, her school's location was too far from her mobile home community to protect her or other children living there from SO's residency zoning restrictions. But I thought SO's cannot live near busstops either... :furious:

On HLN news now. T. J. Hart (reporter) saying there is rumor saying she was out of the home that night and when he asked LE was told it was a "sensitive part of the investigation" so they will not comment. More on HLN>

I think you are correct it is the trailer park. It has always shown Hermit's Cove.

It's been the Hermit's Cove location...that did not change.

ETA...that's the name of the trailer park isn't it?
