thanks for clearing up my question about the AC/heater...

I guess my first priority would be to buy curtains for the windows (instead of using blankets)... and if there were no permanent curtains on the windows, it might have been easy for somebody to look inside the house during the day to see what's going on in there (just a thought).

I was thinking the same thing, cajun. This could be a possible reason everyone was sleeping in the same room--and a possible trigger for violence. A child wetting the last blanket on a cold night when the heater is broken. JMO

Anyone know what the temps were like that night?
Not sure, but we did have quite of a warm stretch. I doubt they had a heater on! I live more north than them and rarely run the heat. I did have it on about 2 weeks ago however - for 2 nights, but last week it was warm and I was running the air if anything.

On HLN news now. T. J. Hart (reporter) saying there is rumor saying she was out of the home that night and when he asked LE was told it was a "sensitive part of the investigation" so they will not comment. More on HLN>

Ahhhh very interesting SS. I think that she wasn't. Time will tell!

ITA! I was going to post the same thing!! CURTAINS!

If those people had curtains - we wouldn't even be talking about part of this whole blanket mess!

Thanks for your reply, Gypsy Road.

I POSTED THIS SOMEWHERE

now the world knows you can make chlorofrm and how

thanks to casey looking it up and the media spreading it

Have LE said adult prints were found? I didn't hear this if so, altho this would take a super CSI-savvy perp... wearing booties over his shoes or something I mean come on, there would have to be right. I'm just trying to recall where they report Haleigh's footprints on the path, as I don't believe they found adult prints (?) JMO

It's all pointing at Misty. And it seems as tho they are saying more without saying more. I think we are going to see some movement soon.

We have many photos of Misty's mother. Someone here even has one as their avi or did! She has been beside Misty in a number of interviews. Her face is all over the myspace pages with her kids, too.
and she looks, to me to have had a very rough life.
I dont like "rag" magazines, but I have said it before and I will say it again, when the National Enquirer comes down there and starts throwing dollar bills around, we will hear a whole lot of things. Not saying any will be true, but this area seems ripe for the pikin if ya know what I mean. I am so frustrated by lack of information, the Enquirer would be good read right now:bang:

T. J. Hart also mentioned that the "street talk" says someone may have stopped by to "check on the kids" while MC could have been gone. (Again...rumor)

Misty's mother has been there. She is in a at least one interview sitting with Misty.

Dumb question alert:
If Misty is 17 and has been questioned extensively, why have we not seen a legal guardian?
If there was a parent o guardia, I would be sure that the media flocking around would have gotten photos by now. Why aren't there any?
Earlier, my hinky meter was going wild, now I am just confused.

Not to be nit-picky, but I live in North Florida in Pensacola, and up until a day ago I had my air conditioner on because it was in the high 70's and humid; we felt hot and sticky so the air had to come on. So I don't find it strange that they called the air conditioner guy. I live more north (and way west) of Satsuma, so it had to be even warmer there. Just saying.

I'm in Pensacola too and I agree. Florida weather in VERY unpredictable this time of year...it can be cold one night, hot and humid the next so calling the AC guy isn't a strange thing to do. In fact, alot of people have their ACs worked on in the cooler months because it's a little cheaper and you beat the rush during the hotter months.

Oh, I have totally thought about there being 2 perps!

The number of SO's in that close proximity is just frightening!

I checked FDLE's site this morning and there is a total of 230 SO's registered in Putnam County.

This is funny..............at First Coast News, someone left the mike on while the two commentators were waiting to go on air. The two women were talking about one of them being on scene at the command post last week Wed, Thurs, and Fri, and being on the Nancy Grace program. One asked if she met NG, or was just asked questions. :)

GGGGrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.....all you Southerner's with your heat!!! I'm freezing my booty off here.

Misty talking about the blankets did not bother me at first. If it were me trying to call LE about my missing child then I probably would have spoken gibberish or something.

And yes I know that they are not her "real" children. But she has been taking care of them for a few months. There has to be some loving feelings there, KWIM?

I still wonder about the SO that absconded. Is there any word on him yet?

In the article I read earlier today (can't find it now), I noticed the wording LE used about MC's "timeline". I am beginning to believe they are not using her timeline at all and it is the reason they won't specify if she went to school that day. It could put the timeline back significantly if the last person to actually see her was a teacher at the school instead of the school bus driver. (It could also discount both Ronnie and Misty's stories of what happened and when.)

If Misty left those kids alone that night, I can not imagine Ron staying calm after finding that out?

Thought that was funny.

Did you see the part where they questioned Misty again about the Poly? She looked like she was having a real hard time keeping her balance.:waitasec:
