OK... well, George is letting his emotions get the best of him. He sounds very unstable, angry. I don't like the part where someone asked what he talked about with the father, and he said that was between them... Already, starting with the "none-of-your-business-Anthony attitude". I think George needs to go home. He still has a lot of healing left to do and in MHO, he can't do that while trying to invest time and help in this case.

And, you're right. In my opinion, the grandmother is clearly upset that this girlfriend was left in the care of Haleigh and her other grandchild, and is using her anger to pinpoint the girlfriend every chance she gets because of it.

I am wondering if the Haleigh's maternal grandma actually took care of her on weekend visits more than the bio mom. In the interview (with mom rocking) it is Grandma who said something to this effect: "We get them at 6 on Fri. and, return them at 6 on Sun."
Why didn't she say that mom picks them up at 6 on Fri? I am thinking mom was doing lots of drugs when Haleigh and her bro were young. Hence...no custody and perhaps little bonding (I think she did refer to them as little brats on her myspace.)

Oh good heavens... if the mom doesn't have custody bc of addiction issues, CPS should have removed these children from the both of them. I cannot believe people with a LIST of criminal charges/etc can retain their rights to raise children only to have them (children) repeat what they've learned.

...and don't forget bio-mom has another baby now, too. :bang:
So...she can take care of the baby, but not her 2 older kids? Where's the logic in that?

As far as the gf talking about the blankets in that interview... didn't they say there was a blanket found outside?? Maybe she had been grilled by LE as to why there was a blanket from her bed out there and she hadn't woken up when it was taken. I think she was aware of that and that people didn't understand there was more than one blanket, so she was trying to clear that up.

Earlier in these threads it was indicated that LE put the blanket outside to scent the dogs. Seems like poor placement, but hopefully they knew what they were doing.

Ohhh okay. In that case, I think she went on about the blankets because having to wash her blanket was a large part of the evening leading up to Haleigh's disappearance.
