If it is another teen they may not be brave enough yet. Don't want to get their friend in trouble. If it is a guy, well he may have a girlfriend that he would rather not notify and/or be afraid of dad's reaction. Dad seems to have a bit of a temper and quite the record to go with it.

Considering the fact that this is very likely to be a homicide case Misty might serve herself very well by providing a witness to her whereabouts during the time the child disappeared. It won't look good that she left to kids alone, but dumb decisions are made by people in roles they shouldn't be in. 17 years old and five months of roleplaying mommy to two small children and wifey is not a good plan at all.

Maybe they're both too afraid to tell the truth since dad wanted to hunt down perp with his own gun before LE could get there?

I only found one for Misty also. I will go back through the threads because another poster was finding them left and right.

I have about 10-15 minutes before I have to get up and leave for a celebration dinner with my husband folks (he changed command today)

Kat, this is the only one i could find for Misty, if i recall right someone said she also went by "lil missy" although i'm not certain if i recall right, maybe someone knows can correct me?

911: "tell him we've got them coming, he's got to calm down a little bit. The officers are going to come out there and do what they can. We can't have him screaming and yelling at the officers whenever they get there ok?"

googling any phone number that shows up is a good idea as well (bio moms home number is listed, that leads you to a myspace posting that includes her cell number, the cell number leads you to another myspace posting she made). I usually run the number through craigslist as well.

There is no link. People keep referring to these chatters who are spreading rumors as "bloggers." They are not. They are simply people entering comments on a chat section of a website.

I noticed the family's dimeanor change after GA and KFN showed up. Nice. Did you see George angrily saying that everyone needs to stop scrutinizing the family? He needs to go home.

With all due respect, George is right. Digging up dirt on the family members is NOT helping find the little girl. Leave that to law enforcement... that's their job. Checking criminal records of sex offenders is okay, but let LE do their jobs and stop speculating and starting rumors about the parents and the girlfriend, the grandparents and aunts and uncles. JMO, but that does not help them, it only makes their fear and sorrow a hundred times worse.
I'm not just talking about WS, I'm referring to all these message boards and blogs on the net. They've become gossip fests, IMO.
As for George being there, I would rather see him do something useful in helping find this child than to see him OD on something and have to be buried. If he wants to help look for her, LET HIM! It's not going to hurt anyone.

1. I think gf Misty was not in the house until about 3 am
when she realized she was gone, she panicked and went searching and then thats when dad arrived.

Hi Joyceandjay, I just heard on CNN that it had to be someone with a key entered that trailer OR someone from the inside opened the door. The lock was too high for a child to reach and there was no sign of breakin to the door.

What if this GF is keeping something secret because she doesn't want to expose someone who was in the home at that time. If it was her brother, for instance.

Sometimes rumors are just that - nothing. Often I have found they have a seed of truth in them. This could be the seed of truth in the rumor we just dealt with here. IMO

Also wanted to add that the father's attitude should not be blamed on George. He had a very agressive attitude toward the 911 operator and the police from the very start. I don't think George can be held responsible for his antagonism. Look what he said about his girlfriend....how long did the media expect it to go on before he got annoyed by their hounding?

The bio-mom, Crystal, is supposedly engaged to her boyfriend, Chad Griffis, age 29. He is the father of her infant girl, Chloe. I suspect, but haven't verified, that Chad Griffis is the adult son of Crystal's, mother's husband, Bruce A. Griffis.
