At Misty's age I can see her putting kids to bed and running to the neighbors close by maybe, leaving the door unlocked. Then came home about 3 am,
before bf and saw that Haleigh was missing. She started calling bf and looking on her own before she called LE.......maybe??? That would give a SO more time than we thought! MOO

never mind the 'age', I HAD - emphasis HAD a friend who was a foster parent who would come to visit me until late in the night always telling me she had someone watching the kids, all 5 under the age of 8. Until I discovered otherwise, running over to her house with her one night realizing no one was there with the kids and she said 'oh this is the 1st time, they always sleep'. Ummm yah, whatever. 1st time? Because she's caught? Some people are horribly irresponsible and that can leave open many dangers to children when they're left alone.

Turner's Syndrome! I need to look at her pic again. They have distinctive physical characteristics and may be smaller that usual, but not necessarily hard to handle. Her pic doesn't look like she has anything wrong. I had a patient at a state school with this. She couldn't talk but she was always wanting her trach cleaned and was a sweet little young woman and not hard to take care of.

I didn't notice it until I saw a certain picture of her, can't remember on what site. But, in this one pic you can tell there are facial characteristics related to the Genetic Disorder ? I think Turners is a Genetic Disorder ?

This statement bothers me! Being hit and stuff like that? How is that right? I never hit my kids (although maybe I should have with the eldest lol).

Just sayin, there's no reason to hit a 5 yo or the 3 yo for that matter.

They've been hit by who? Did they say? Dad? GF?? Mother before dad got them since there was a custody case and he got custody because of some domestic issues, IIRC? This bothers me too. I ask about when and the mom because my son is four and he thinks that every day before today is "yesterday" But if it wasn't the gf, I don't think it is related to the disappearance, so might not be worth the time to find out at this moment.

Yes they are reporting on CNN a pile of Cinder blocks 50 ft from the home, cooborated by a local reporter.

I wish we knew if that was in the father's yard, where they are located exactly, and if they are easily accessed.

I have a feeling this is another case of "she is close to home".
And, I don't think the family is involved. (well, not the father, not sure about the mother). Every trailer and/or home in that area needs to be searched top to bottom. (twice)
Misty, I don't believe was home all night, it's like a case of the house fire and the person in charge was only gone a little while, only this time a little girl is missing.
I keep getting strong vibes Haleigh is in the area, and alive. I don't know why I feel this way but I do.

I think there is so much animosity between the mom and dad in this case...we need to take everything the mom's camp says with a grain of salt. They have already come out swinging, imo. Their sour grapes are showing and to me it sounds more like a motive for revenge here. They should be careful about what they say as it could come back to bite them.

I don't know if Madeline had it. I did a quick read and it varies in symptoms, but usually causes shorter stature, some bone abnormalities and possibly heart and kidney problems. If you google Turner's, images, you can compare some of the features.

Nancy Grace was so nice to the father when he was on the show last night. I think with all the different stories coming from the g/f that MIGHT not be the case tonight.

On fox news today with shedard(misspelling) he had the bio mom on.
And he was hard on her. I not sure if she wasn't medicated

I remember now why Turner's sounded familiar. Law & Order Special Victims Unit did a show where the girl had this syndrome and she looked so much younger then she was someone had turned in her boyfiend as a pedophile.

I will be so upset if the father decides because of GA to end his cooperation with LE. He should take his lessons from Mark K. and from Lunsford instead. If he is in no way involved in this situation, he needs to keep a total open line of communication with LE and the FBI to find his daughter. No lawyering up. No lies. No trying to stop the efforts in searches.
