I feel that way everytime a family can't or won't give a complete timeline.

If I could provide two pieces of advice, the family (both sides) need to come together for the sake of finding Haleigh. Anything that existed before 2/10/09 can be fixed and battled about after Haleigh is home. Second, get a spokesperson for the family and put out a consistent message then go look for Haleigh, lead the flyer distribution, lead the search do whatever it takes to get Haleigh home. The media is tearing the inconsistencies apart. Ron and Crystal need to be Haleigh’s voice even if through a spokesperson. They need to unite for the sake of Haleigh. The seperate vigils are petty and the division is causing the focus to fall off the search.

Oh, I definitely agree!! This g/f needs to step back a little and let the mother and the father unite for the sake of the child. But more importantly, they all need to forget the past differences and just focus on unity, both sets of grandparents and the whole family on both sides. I wish these reporters and media people would stop trying to dig up all the dirt, because that is not productive to finding the child. Let LE do that kind of digging, and keep their answers out of the media. It's not the media's place to be asking why the mom doesn't have custody or any of that, that is not important right now. JUST FIND THE CHILD, and then find out WTH happend and why. She could be wandering around in the woods, or at the bottom of the river, or she could be tied up in somebody's closet, or 4 states away with her hair cut short and dyed, and dressed like a little boy. Everybody needs to just focus on finding her and let the rest of it wait.

I so totally agree! I also think that mom and gf need to separate their differences and come together to help find her. There is a time and place for everything..this is just not the time to separate. Honestly, I am ashamed at the grandparents for not pushing this to happen with these young parents.

Questions we dont have answers to.

Was Haleigh seen by anyone other than G/F or dad?

Did G/F do any drugs that could have impaired her from giving her undivided attention to the children?

Does the brother have any answers? At almost 4 he is definitely talking, can he tell LE anything, that he saw or heard, a child phsycologist would be great at helping a child to recall something rather than coercing him to remember what you might want them to.

Was there someone else in the house that night, G/F is afraid of talking about for sake of safety??

To answer a few questions I've seen asked......

LE could probably look around the trailer for foot prints. It is very sandy in that area...little dirt.

The weather in Fl had been very cold they may of needed the furnace on.
During the days it has been hot 70's & 80's

The biomom probably doesn't know she has the right to see her daughter's school records and speak to her teacher. She could have called that school everyday to see if she was in attendance, imo.
She also has the right to speak to and get information about the kids from any and all caregivers.
However, with all the court filings, she may have been intimitated to not do anything that the dad perceived as assertive or aggresive. Quote)

Biomom has too many of her own issues, to be able to adequately stay on top of her child's needs. Dad & gf don't strike me as being real nurturing either. Referring to any of them as adults seems to be using the term loosely. If LE is searching the trailer and going back thru the last 30 days, as was posted before, there could be all kinds of things - being one possibilty - With the living arrangements the way they were, there's a good chance these kids already knew more about the seamy side of life than a lot of older people do. JMO

Neither parent filed the contempt motion. The court DID. It was a timing issue. She was allowed a certain amount of time to respond before THEY filed a contempt charge. When the time was up...the charge was filed.

However, the bio mom knew it was coming, imo. She knew she only had x amount of time to pay and she neglected to do so. The father probably was aware of the circumstances, but not neccessarily the charge being filed.

When contempt charges are filed against the Bio mom, will a warrant be issured for her arrest for being in contempt? If so, will she be arrested at that time, or at a latter date?

We'll probably find out quite a bit more tomorrow when the dogs get there and go to work. I'm not sure why they aren't already looking in the lake since a dog has alerted to the end of the dock. If a cinder block propped the door, there could be another one being used as a weight.

when dad was doing mini presser today with his mom next to him; he was in complete melt down. Why didn't his mom put her arms around her son and hug him?

Last nite during Greta bio-mom sat there rocking and rocking, why wasn't her mom touching her, helping to soothe her?
