Yes. Which gives me pause actually because other than the first FBI interviews we haven't heard of more. With the level of blabbering from them I would think we would know more at this point.

Someone please refresh my memory. Wasn't Anna raised by her grandparents? Would these be the same grandparents or was she raised by her bio mom's parents?
Also, if there were "demons" that TH had been dealing with, I'm wondering if there were past issues with violence.

And IIRC, AK stepmother SH had earlier indicated IIUC that her ex husband had supposedly made some ‘confidential’ comments about someone or the investigation into events on the cruise or the families? And yet apparently releases such information to the media? SMH.

I noticed the reference to a stateroom somewhere as well. I think it’s just a glorified cruise ship room that’s supposed to come across as more prestigious than a ‘cabin’.

How is a death certificate issued before tox results are completed.

It's obvious Anna is dead but does the medical examiner not need a full report before completing a death cert .

I am familiar with this type of situation from my own experience with a deceased family member. The toxicology results won’t change the cause and manner of death in this case, since it’s a homicide and asphyxiation. That’s all that’s needed for the death certificate.

After reading all these articles and listening to the interviews, it appears everyone in the family, stepfamily, is victim blaming. As if they want to protect the perpetrator far more than dwell on Anna’s murder.

And don’t even get me started on Anna’s biological Dad

No. My guess is, the death occurred in international waters unless proven otherwise, and the ME is playing it safe.

Exactly this , it is victim blaming and deflection of blame from the stepson . ' sure how could he have murder her they got on so well ...all she is short of adding here is " it must have been somebody else "

The grandmother floored me! How long has she known the 16 year old? Not that it matters. Someone (most likely him) murdered her granddaughter. I'd be on the floor howling with rage and grief! This family! IMO

All great questions! So the grandparents were the father's parents and Anna's "real" (not step) grandparents. That makes it even more strange that they said "“I know that those two kids cared about each other in the right way. I can't accuse him because I don't know what happened in that room" Who, if anyone, is speaking out for Anna?

I fear Anna had no one in her corner.

I also felt so sad when both H and T said it had been year(s) since they had talked to Anna. This poor girl was doing her best to carve out some normalcy for herself.

In the family court documents (written from SHK’s ex-husband’s point of view) there had been a family altercation between SHK’s 18 year old son and her now husband, CK and as a result he had moved back with his bio dad, TH. I’m thinking this could’ve been a catalyst for Anna to move in with her grandmother, BK, at least for a short period.

So not exactly a happy, blended family. Plus SH and CK had only been married for a little over a year.
