From what I understand, his body had not been found. I can't get the side by side correct, but boy the nose and other facial features are so close.

The CCSO has also responded several times on Facebook that Denim has no tattoos at all - looks like that guy has one on his forearm.

BUT he is too tall and his thread says there is video of him jumping to his death at Niagara Falls

Thank you for the side by side. It is so uncanny but that left ear may not be a match. His thread also says he knew the swimming / diving spots intimately and was an excellent diver. He may be too young too.

Kyle left his residence on foot after an altercation with his brother. It is unknown where he was going. Reported to have been suffering from health issues. On one of the flyers it was asked if he was going to the doctor, and that they never wanted him to think he was a burden...

Kyle is in NAMUS...however, When NAMUS gave us the information on dental/DNA being available on a case..I remember many that said something like DNA pending (or something like that)

Thanks for continuing to look Classito. I think Kyle is too tall (our mystery hiker is only 5'8") and too young. Plus it's really obvious IMO they are not the same person when you put their photos side by side. Look at the beard coloring for one thing. Kyle's beard is white/blonde under his lips while his outer beard hair is dark and Denim's beard hair is reverse of that-- still dark brown under his lips and grey on the sides of his beard.

Thanks for looking Coffee56. IMO he is too young and too tall. Plus we know the UID was on the Appalachian Trail in Oct 2017--This is a period when we have at least 3 different people who say they saw him and hiked with him for several weeks (between August and Early Oct). He had made it to a hostel in Damascus, VA by Oct 7th which is over 160 miles from Union Hall, VA: Google Maps
Denim would have been somewhere in TN or NC by the 30th of Oct in order to make it to Mountain Crossings by Dec 2nd, where the next photo of him was taken and where he claimed to the store owner that he had been hiking the AT since June...
Unless you think he took a break from hiking after Damascus, went back to Union Hall, VA and then had someone drive him to Georgia on Oct 30th to return to hiking? He was seen at a Georgia trail shelter in November. It's possible he took a break, I suppose, but IMO it doesn't really fit with the timeline of what we have been told by witnesses and by Denim himself... JMO.

Another man claims on 9/12/17 he took extra water to Fullhardt Knob Shelter and may have made a purchase atOutfitters in Daleville Va. I also see that several news articles says he had "clean" clothes. He had been somewhere to have them washed.

I had not seen the Daleville, VA info. Could you please let me know where you saw it? Thanks.

I believe Denim likely washed his clothes at hostels just like any other AT hiker. Some have pay washing machines and some have designated sinks with washer boards for hikers to wash out their clothes by hand for free. I wonder if perhaps he had at least two pairs of the same shorts and two identical grey shirts and rotated them out. I have yet to find a photo of him wearing anything else (except the winter photos where he has his coat and long black pants on as well).

My heart was jumping for a bit when I saw his face, until I noticed that this wonderful guy was found deceased. And yes he had an tattoo...and Denim had not..but still.....such a shame. I really, really hope our UID is going to be identified.....
