Deceased/Not Found FL - Brandy Hall, 32, Palm Bay, 17 Aug 2006

I just finished reading the posts. I hope no one minds if I do some 'what-iffing'. Probably nothing to it but these are just a few thought that crossed my mind at first glance.

What if you were a gang of pot growers and/or sellers passing stuff on up the pipeline. . .and some of you got busted.

Now then . . what if one of those busted got let off due to 'lack of evidence'? Do you really believe that? Do the bigger fish you are doing business with believe that? orrrrrr

'What if' someone begins to believe that a certain someone talked in order to get let off for 'lack of evidence'.

Moreover . . 'what if' that person actually HAD talked in order to get let off.
That would add a very disturbing angle to the case if that talky person suddenly disappeared leaving behind not much doubt she had been murdered. It would make L.E. wonder 'what if' perhaps someone more than guessed she had talked . . perhaps had an ear into L.E.'s operations.

Now why was she fired from her job after being released? 'What if' you could not have even a little suspicion you were a dirty department? Or 'what if' you could not afford to have L.E. continue to look for what they might have missed when they got some of your crew? 'What if' you could not have an informer hanging around to let them know what else might be going on.

Could be lots more here than first meets the eye. So why is the FBI involved in a crime that has not crossed state lines? Do they usually get involved in the death of a volunteer? I don't know as this is not my area of knowledge so I ask.

We don't mind at all, in fact we welcome your what if's :)

I will tell you this, there was a rumor, I think I can maybe find a link to a news article on it, but that RR was part of the pot-growing operation. At one time I believe RR was good friends with Brandy's husband.

The FBI part, I'm not sure except she was a paid member of the fire department and I know when at my department we were background checked and fingerprinted by the FBI. They told us it was because we were a public agency. I wish I had paid more attention back then.

You have some very interesting what if's, and very much worth looking into.

Thank you for checking out Brandy's case. I have read many of your posts on Maura's case and very much like your insight :)

Please keep sharing with us!!

His apparent gall makes me ill. I think he sees himself as untouchable, that he has gotten away with it, so talking can't hurt him. Add in his wife, who ate the very least must suspect, and the pair of them are just vile, IMHO.

I agree, his whole attitude is disgusting. I wish we had phone records, so we could know text msgs, last calls etc... Very telling I bet. Something happened after she talked to Jeff & the kids.

I only read some of the articles on the internet but I thought one of them said she had been fired from her paid job and had went to another department as a volunteer. That's why I wondered why FBI were looking into the disappearance of a 'volunteer'.

I believe right before she went missing, it had been said there were talks about her getting her job back. I hope that is true, her being fired was not handled well at all.

LE in this case seems to be pretty tight lipped with information. Though they have said that RR and his wife are person's of interests. The last thing we heard was back in 2011 I think and that was when they told the public the FBI was looking at the case. I wish they could update us.

Your very welcome :)

Hi doc. I've read your insightful posts on the Maura thread. Thank you so much for taking a look at Brandy's case!

She was initially fired from her job as a paid firefighter when her husband was arrested for growing pot on a property they owned in another county. LE thought that she may be involved. Prior to her husband's court date, she was cleared of any wrong doing or knowledge of her husband's crimes. She was volunteering until the fire house could process her back as a paid fire fighter.

The day after she disappeared, both Brandy and RR were due in court in Orange County to testify in her husband's case. RR called Jeff and told him he "couldn't make it".

I believe the FBI can become involved any time LE requests their assistance. It could also be because they considered JH's drug activities a possible motive.

Thanks for the warm welcome. :cheerful:

I don't know how much help I can be but I will look and read and think.

re FBI involvement: I know FBI can come in if requested but I have seen other cases that needed their help lots more and yet local LE would not call them in so I was a bit surprised that they are suddenly involved in this case. I think I can see some possibilities as to why but for all I know it could just be the result of some routine protocol put in place since 9/11 that I don't know about. (I am actually happy the FBI is looking at things.)And the only reason I am asking 'why' is because if there is a special reason that reason might point us in the right direction in looking at this case.

The only other reason I can think of is to avoid the appearance of impropriety. FD and PD here are like Frick and Frack.

I've been reading a lot about statement analysis ever since I came across a blog while researching Maura's case. It is really fascinating. I would love to get my hands on a good sized statement or interview from RR and ask Peter (an expert in statement analysis) his opinion. www.🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬.blogspot.com if you want to check out the technique. I don't know how to link from my tablet.

haha - I wish MY hair would do that....thank you for doing the facebook page. :)

here is the poster...let me know if I missed anything.

Okay, SM page is up and running. I contacted about 20 various fire dept's who have pages on SM and sent them the page addy and asked them to post on their pages, plus included Brandy's missing poster that Walking Dead Girl made ( thank you so much ) , And one of the departments I sent to was the Malabar (sp) D shift page. I doubled checked and RR is not a member of that page. But you never know who will say something to him. So here is hoping they screw up and LE pays attention.

I will start contacting the news stations and newspapers Saturday with request for a follow up story on Brandy and will send them her missing poster as well. Lets keep our fingers crossed we can light the fire!

Where is Brandy!

Thank you so much Balor51 and walkingdeadgirl! A lot of people talk the talk but not very many walk the walk. Y'all are awesome for doing all of this for Brandy!

Hi everyone!

Just reading through the posts and throwing out a few thoughts and questions as they come along. Were the windows of the truck rolled up and the doors closed? If they were and her body was in the truck at the time it went in the water, she would still be in the truck. She didn't get out of the truck underwater and roll up the window. IMO she's not in the lake. It seems like someone dumped her truck and took her body somewhere else, otherwise they would have just left her body in the truck, I would think...I wonder why they didn't just leave her in the truck? They must have had a great place in mind to put her body, it has been so far anyway, since nobody's found her. It's not as easy to hide a truck, though..

In my opinion, When RR talked about how she could be possibly be in the woods. I believe he slipped up there. He was out and about driving around that following morning. I do think that because there was a significant amount of blood found in the truck, that is where she was killed and then moved and the truck dumped there. Let me see if I can find the link to the MSM that had a great breakdown on when they pulled the truck out.

Love theories, keep'em coming :)

First, thank you for letting me jump into your thread and try to help!!

To me it seems like he wanted the truck in the water for two reasons; get it out of sight and to help get rid of blood evidence left in the truck. I also believe the murder took place inside the truck. But where????

Y'all have probably gone over this stuff a qazillion times lol, but I'd still like to help!!!! I'm good at maps so if you need one I can do something really snazzy!

OMG We would love a map! Thank you!!! Heck I always say , the more the merrier!! Welcome !!!

I wish we had cell information for pings, because I can not think of where this could have happened. I think it was fairly close to her work, but that is all I can come up with. I think her headache meds missing was to make it look like she took off. There is no way she would have left on her own, and the amount of blood in the truck, LE believes it was foul play. I agree. But I think there is some politics going on behind the scene.

I am leaning towards her being in the woods. Just not sure where, I think it is fairly close, because they will want to be able to keep watch on it.

Thank you for your warm welcome!!:loveyou:

What do you mean by politics being involved, from his work, perhaps? I think she's close as well, maybe in the woods.

Y'all are local gals, aren't you? Dangit, this is one time I wish I were!

I'll start working on a map tomorrow and I'll probably ask y'all for some help. I want everything on there, her work, his work, their home, the lake, etc...oh and she was having an affair is that correct? We can put him on there to. Can't wait to help y'all!

ETA: As soon as I get home from work tomorrow I'll be on it!!!

I'm not local, but WalkingDeadGirl is/has been and knows the area very well.
RR and Brandy are reported to have had a relationship. He has stated it was an "Emotional Relationship". He was a higher ranking officer within the dept. Fire department & LE departments can get very political in small area's like this. Oh this map will be great!! Anything you need you got it!! Yay!!!

I will be around off and on over the weekend. It's school work and grandkid weekend here..Ekkkkkk! But I do check in on my phone or tablet when I can so just hollar!!:floorlaugh:

Thanks again and welcome!!!:loveyou:

I'm new to this area (moved down from Volusia last year) and I've walked all around the Eau Gallie area (playing the google "ingress" game, its a long story, heh). I live just a few miles inland. I can't add much to this case, knowledge wise, as I discovered it via the "Disappeared" eps only a few months ago.

However... if GPS-enabled smartphone pictures around the helmet "find" area would help, in a few days I may be able to go over and take pics of whatever's legally accessible (i.e. not private property), on my next days off.

I always wondered if that game was going to make a witness to something interesting...

corqpub~at~gmail dot com if you want to reach me outside the thread, just put websleuths in the subject line or something.

I try to read here every few days; but I've always associated the possible scenes of her disappearance more near Palm Bay which I don't know so well.

Eau Gallie and Indiatlantic I'm more familiar with, and will help out if I can. Let me know!
