I'm not feeling so optimistic. The wording in the article seems strange. I wonder if the wording should have been: "Detectives said there have been reported sightings of Roberts and/or the Tavar [vehicle] in Washington State, including reports of Tavar's Rav4 being seen in the Yakima area over the weekend of July 24

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -- Pat Bellamah wants it the photograph of Joseph Roberts publicized.

The more people see it, the more likely she will know what happened to her missing sister, Brittany Tavar, from St. Augustine.

Colonel Todd Thompson with the St. Johns Sheriff's Office said, "We have run out of leads, quite frankly, when it comes to his trail going west."

So St. Johns County investigators have reached out to America's Most Wanted, which has placed Roberts' profile and Tavar's missing person story on its website.

Surely someone has seen him! Is it possible that he slipped across the border? Were Canadian border services notified? This guy simply can't get away with this!
