Interesting. “Another theory was that Diego had gotten involved in a drug and/or gambling scheme and he and Carmen took Barbara and fled to the Little Havana neighborhood of Miami, Florida; this too could not be substantiated.” This is about 40 miles (give or take) from where she was found. Although Barbara is a few years younger than the estimated age of the UID, she certainly fits the description. I see a resemblance too. I think it’s worth submitting. Good find!

I looked on the Doe Network. Both the Jane Doe and Barbara have DNA available. I imagine they were compared in CODIS, but sometimes that isn't always the case.

Are you still waiting on Broward County to respond? If so, that is most unfortunate. The resemblance is uncanny IMO.
