Oh oh, juror 105 is in trouble. Another juror said that juror 105 was talking about the case to them, giving details. Judge Battles getting specifics on which jurors were involved in the convo.

Attorneys now arguing over whether to dismiss a woman who heard abt the case from another juror. She's excused

Judge says instructions are clear that he gave, if anyone starts to talk about the case a potential juror is to tell them to stop. Juror 131 that told judge about the convo is excused but sent to talk to the bailiff. I wonder if she will get a contempt of court fine.

Judge takes a 20 minute break, I think he's going to talk to juror 105 during this break.

Another juror telling the court that 50 jurors waiting to be called on Monday were speculating if the trial was for JS, one juror was giving specific details about JS to the room in general. Sounds like this happened before the judge gave his instructions.

Yikes, juror that was talking in the jury room now being questioned by Judge Battles. Says the jurors were speculating (3 people) what trial they might be jurors for, he told them if it was for the JS trial it was pretty terrible and that she killed her kids and it was premeditated.

Council now speaking with judge while juror 105 waits. It seems this discussion happened before this group of 50 were brought into court and given instructions by the judge.

Juror 105 sent out and excused, juror 131 also excused. All other prospective jurors remain in the pool.

Hardship and publicity questioning continues.

Wow! A little excitement in the jury pool. Not surprised though that jurors were speculating. It is human nature and apparently weren't aware of the rules while passing time waiting. Usually the jurors are monitored, so surprised if much was said.
