Court being recessed #ScheneckerTrial. Prospective Jurors to return at 8:45 AM EDT

Judge kept them working until nearly 6 p.m (FL time) yesterday.

I didn't watch yesterday, but I read posts here about judge saying they would work until 6. (which I would like to add is lovely considering how AZ's court system works and we had enough of that these past few months with the MD trial)

I went back and corrected my post because I was wrong. :blushing:

Does anyone know where I can find a video of today's events? Rewinding ABC's live stream doesn't work for me.

watching the prosecutor who reminds me so much of Dr. Phil...this trial will never be over in 2 weeks...he likes to talk....long dissertations.

Knew nothing about this case, never heard of it, but had my interest piqued by the thread being at top of the (unread) list. Thanks for the Twitter updates, you all are fantastic, and those court chatter updates are witty as all get out! I dig it!
I'm of course interested deeply now that I've done some background reading and eager for this trial. Kudos to Colonel Schenecker for attending and being an advocate for justice for his kids. He tried in their lifetime, my Lord, those emails he wrote (see court chatter link) were heart wrenching with the benefit of hindsight...and still, I think he did everything he could. No one could have projected this...and he tried in vain to get her doctors to release some information, some tidbit...But the privacy laws tied their hands.
I just pray that nothing comes out regarding any threats she made about her kids, to her doctors, because I think that should be extenuating circumstances for full disclosure...although I'm not clear on the Hippa law intricacies..

JMO, love you WS peeps

So far, I like his style. We'll see what he's got during opening and witness cross-X.

He reminds me of Bernie de la Rionda from the Zimmerman trial.

I agree about her husband.Ii also think he tried hard to do the right thing. I had read the emails days ago and feel so bad for him.

thanks for the tweets, chelly, and the narrative, Rhozwen. :seeya:

Good Morning WS Friends! :seeya:

Looking forward to defense's portion of voir dire.

Love the live streaming!

Will be in and out for next hour or so, then plan to stay put for the remainder of jury selection. Let's hope that closing starts Monday. This judge seems to run a tight ship so looks like a good paced trial
