I think I read that her husband was home recently, within a few weeks, and I guess he must not have noticed anything drastic or unusual?
Pre existing medical condition...
Behavior out of character...
Currently in ICU...
Violent behavior that was unprovoked...
Swift personality change...
Brain tumor?
Wonder if the "TIP" was anything to do with the mother's obvious mental problems?
"The Department of Children and Families said it investigated the family about two months ago after getting a complaint. The tip was determined to be unfounded and the case closed. Spokesman Terry Field said he couldn't elaborate."

JPS is out of the hospital in back in jail now. It appears her medical condition was stabilized quickly.
One other observation- she was found in a bloody robe & slippers. I doubt she was wearing the robe when she was driving her son. I wonder if we will be told the sequence of events that eventually gets pieced together. For example- did she kill her son, shower & put on the robe prior to killing her daughter ? I don't know if that makes any difference, I was just curious.
CIA or NSA go through a lot of vigours testing.. Wouldn't be suprised if there was some Mind control stuff going on here. Yeah yeah... don't hate me...
She could be a woman that was brave but who was taught to never show weakness no matter the circumstances.
It's so very sad that this line of thinking still exists. Of course not sure if this is what happened here, but I do know it exists especially regarding mental health issues.
O/T but not and again just my own experience. After a horrific car accident I was anxiety ridden. I was not depressed, but the thought of getting in a car freaked me out to the point I got physically ill.
Long story short it was the advent of Paxil. I took it. My entire personality changed. If you even might have been thinking of butting in line ahead of me or looked at me crooked I could easily have went bonkers on everyone and anyone. Sometimes I think it's a curse but by nature I would help anyone. A stranger. On Paxil? Pfffffffftttttttttt. Not only wouldn't I help you I'd hinder you.
Thank goodness I recognized it on my onw, but have close family as well that were like "Ummmmmm that medicine ain't right for you".
In a heartbeat I would have went to therapy about that anxiety, but come from stoic people that think asking for help is a weakness. Especially going to the "Crazy Doctor". Again, I am Blessed that I finally did what was best for me for other reasons and went to therapy. Maybe this woman didn't have any support. People afraid to ask for help for her.
If she was mentally ill before she did this, because of a tumor/other health condition/medication induced/etc, then why the heck was she able to buy a gun on Saturday??? I would like to know what her demeanor was like when she walked into that gun shop and purchased a gun. I hope LE gets video from that shop.
I think she murdered her children because she was sick and tired of being their mother and knowing they were closer to wanting their independence. IMO
Hmm... that's quite possible, I never thought of that. It just seems though that she had so much going for her outside of being a mother, she doesn't strike me as one who would be overwrought by an empty nest. Friends have suggested her family was everything to her so I'm leaning more toward mental illness due to any number of possibilities... a breakdown in the marriage resulting in psychotic break or depression from not meeting her own expectations. I'm remembering that woman Yeager or something like that that drowned her kids a few years ago... post partum depression defense, I think. Very sick and didn't get proper treatment. Very sad.
