3 day waiting period. She picked up the gun on the 25th, and she murdered her children on the 27th.
So 5 days after the initial gun purchase, she did the deed.
That's where the 3 days/5 days are coming from.

That "uneasy" on her feet comment reminds me of the email Parker sent to her doc on Dec. 31 -- "in bed 24/7 for past 5 weeks...her energy seems to be non-existent, her memory is shot, and her balance is way off...she's been falling quite a bit lately"

This also reminds me of the email her brother wrote her confronting her about her illness and getting help. He was kind of scolding her at times thinking it was helping but to a very sick person I could see where this could be more hurtful as their thinking isn't the same as a healthy mind.

He noted how smart she was but her writing and spelling in emails had been lacking and there was no excuse for it being every app has spell check. I believe this is a sign of a failing mind as well. The notes she wrote about her plans had many misspellings and some of it didn't make sense IIRC.

It is my very firm opinion that none of her "illnesses" meet the definition of Insanity. If this were true; everyone with Bi Polar and Maj Depr/Mania would be insane. Anyone with TD would be insane. Anyone with Psychotic features, insane. And this is just so far from the truth that her defense and her def team sicken me. They do; and I can't help but be honest and write it. TD is a NEUROLOGICAL CONDITION in the brain. IT HAS NOTHING to do with Mental Illness; or Insanity. Not in any way. Her defense teams opening statements sickened me. Her behaviour in the courtroom sickens me, and her Male Def Atty has now positioned himself at her side; so that we and the cameraman cannot see her actions as well. What Games. Suffice it to say following this trial is proving difficult for me.

Well, actually, TD is related to mental illness, in that it can be a side effect of several meds to treat mental illness. It was Parker who first brought up the link between TD and "everything unraveling" in an email to her doc on Nov. 8 -- he said that after a "pretty steady run" for 1 1/2 years (I'm taking that to mean she was doing ok, mentally) that she started to experience TD -- and apparently the resulting med changes (taking off of Abilify? which apparently worked well for her) sent her "spiraling down into deep depression" -- and he also mentioned the stressful relationship with their daughter, who he said was disrespectful and verbally abusive to Julie, calling her mother names related to her mental illness -- her husband said that it was at this point that Julie began to have episodes where she was getting drunk -- that this was the first time that ever happened. He also mentions she's having short term memory issues.
