the ''stipulation'' is that the ''truth'' is that CS & BS are dead as of Jan 27 2011 - and that these are ''facts'' of the trial. I am wondering if that is part of the ''deal'' where this doesn't turn into a he said/she said circus...just the hard cold facts around the day only of the murders -- she's cheesed....

Thank you so much. Does she not get it or want to admit they are dead or what?

She's basically being asked to say she understands that her children died on Jan. 27, 2011. #ScheneckerTrial

I don't understand JS's reaction. Isn't the kid's date of death a given? Or is she still thinking they are going to come visit her in the slammer?

too much reality for her......too black and white...:tantrum:

really don't think that she appreciates being reined in to face the truth

My husband is home today so missed watching it on the local tv, had to watch live stream. The one I was watching cut off and I missed all of the end bit about the stipulation. Is it still up on another live feed?
Ran over to abc and it's now at the seal...did I miss it?

:gasp:

There was a brief break, then the seal. I believe enough time was allowed for the jury to leave, then the feed came back briefly for the stipulation.

YouTube will probably have it available in a few hours. The subject came up at both the beginning of court today and at the end.

The video just cut in real fast, think part of what the Judge was saying wasn't caught? I think they're on a break, with the jury on their way home, to let JS and her attorneys get it sorted out?

I wonder by saying yes my children died on this date, does she think she is admitting to guilt?

This is exactly why many people with Bipolar stop taking Lithium. It slows their brain process down, and makes it difficult for them to organize their thinking. The judge gave her too much information all at once.

It's called "being overwhelmed".

I was in the hospital for 3 1/2 weeks for major depression. When they sent me home I was on Lithium and while they did a blood level after starting it, they didn't do one prior to d/c. Two weeks later my level was toxic... I was shaking much worse than JS and as you said, the thinking slows and I was becoming scared/paranoid. I remember watching a movie with my family and when something would happen it would take a couple minutes for my mind to catch up and release ohh that is what is going on. Very weird.

Precisely -- the defense made a show of trying to keep the interrogation out of evidence, but IMO this is some of the best evidence they have that she may have been insane -- moving in and out of reality.

Agreed and the police coverup is obvious, particularly in the case of the lead detective. And......he was unnerved during his cross examination on that subject.

I need to add, I am a huge supporter of LE during trials. This is the first time in all my years of trial viewing that I am suspect of police motives.

Thank you. I have abc's feed on now and it's working.

I think this whole delay about the stipulation could have been avoided if someone took the time to explain it to her in very simple, basic terms.
I agree, her mind seems slowed down and can't process all of that verbiage so fast. I had to rewind and listen a 2nd time to understand what it was all about and I'm not on any meds. I imagine what it would be like on meds that slow the neurons down - it would be like her brain is underwater.

Her reaction is not understandable because possibly she is not quite with it.
Some might say she is playing a game

Glad that worked out for you.
Nicely put re stipulation.
Whatever is going on with her, she's a mess.
