What ever happened to 'Objection, your honor on the basis of blah, blah, blah'

WTH is this 'May I approach?' Hmmmm, because I don't like where this line of questioning is going?

#JulieSchenecker planning and intent And the word #Massacre" shows how she knew the wrongfulness at act says doc

Does anyone know if JS's mother and siblings are in court? TIA~

Dr. O said she understood the wrongfulness of her actions.

She said her husband would be "pissed off."

Using words "Saturday massacre" in her journal infers knowledge of the wrongfulness of her actions.

"The evil starts Thursday" - (if referring to killing) -- using word "evil" infers understanding of wrongfulness.

"I don't wanna go to jail" to Dr. O could mean many things.

Videotape at Tampa Gen (2 days after murder) - she shared that she didn't anyone about her intent to kill the children because they would have prevented it, which to Dr. O suggests she understood the wrongfulness.

She said it was "horrible horrible" to see her children like that. To Dr. O this reflected regret, immediately afterward she said she wished she'd just killed herself and not the children.

Def trying to show Dr Otto met w #JulieSchenecker when she was on meds to stabilize her mood and not accurate assessment

Trial Queen Sharee ‏@TrialQnSharee 37s
Dr Otto: I don't think #JulieSchenecker was receiving anti psychotic medications in the jail

Def: Talking to someone two yrs after the fact may not be an accurate assessment of her thoughts, doc agrees

  • #338
His interview w/ JS over 2 years after murders.

He reviewed JS's medications taken in jail. She was receiving meds while in jail to deal with her depression, mental illness, bipolar.

He didn't test JS because it'd been 2 years since the murders when he saw her.

There is also some possibility that talking to a person 2 years after an incident could result in receiving incorrect info, due to memory, etc.

Doc says doesn't know if mental Health rec of #JulieSchenecker were comprehensive that he got fm pros

Defense has pointed out numerous reports that were not reviewed by Dr. Otto

Love it when he responds, 'yeah yeah' when asked if he saw medicines Rx at the jail/by medic when Defense tries to badger how he knows which meds she's taking at jail
