When someone is very depressed as #JulieSchenecker was, it can effect one's judgment

Journal entry - "the evil starts Thursday" - she did not have religious delusion - she knew something bad, something wrong, would occur on Thursday.

Role of alcohol abuse and opioids had a substantial impact on her mental state and would have affected her conduct. Can seriously add to depression and affect judgement.

She lied to Beau when the gun scared him. She told him it was a toy gun.

Her concern that her kids might become bipolar came out later. Not mentioned at the time.

Also, not a delusion. Could be a legit fear.

Also an element of anger - toward her husband, resentment and hostility - expressed to docs at USF, expressed at Windmoor, expressed anger when Dr. Stein interviewed her - she said she as mistreated, treated like a child, her daughter had been terribly mean to her.

Some of the evidence of hostility came out in journal.

Julie was such a narcissistic whiner. It was always someone else's fault. Life to her was all about 'ME, ME, ME.'

She never once thought about Parker and her children and the hell she put them through on a daily basis.

No wonder Parker had to baby her like a child. She sure wasn't acting like an adult mother. Someone had to be the adult in that family.

Everything that happened in the home was suppose to center around her and her only. That's exactly what she expected from them all.

I find her so despicable.IMO

Kills me that husband working, kids in school and she's in a casino! Maybe I'm a prude, but that's the last place I would think of going. Her children seemed to interfere with what she wanted to do.

There is some great info on this trial, including all the e mails between PS and JS, CPS reports, wrongful death suit, and everything in between! After reading the e mails, I find PS to be very kind to her and also extremely supportive. I can't imagine any man staying with her for 20 years. He is a saint IMO ~
