He sure wouldn't be the first husband who trusted their wife completely with the finances and later learned the wife was very untrustworthy.



She was probably spending a lot of money on alcohol and gambling behind his back and not paying their monthly bills.



I think I read he had to take out a loan after she murdered the children to pay off her gambling debt.



IMO

IMO it's kind of a no-brainer that you don't leave someone with bipolar in charge of the finances
