I know Joseph waived his right to a hearing yesterday. Did KB/KW have one in Florida? Does anyone have a link to a video of it if so, or the one she had before extradition?

IIRC correctly, brother said JWs ex-wife already had 4 children from previous relationships when he met her. All of those children were eventually removed from JW and ex-wife. JW then had 3 bio children with same ex-wife and all 3 of those were eventually removed as well. Ex-wife's mother says JW was pure evil and absolutely ruined her daughter's life (which I can believe; I saw several battery arrests for beating the ex-wife and another GF). Ex-wife's mother says ex-wife is currently homeless.

Brother did allege that there was sexual abuse by grandpa *after* the children were removed from JW and ex-wife, but that was when he was actively still defending the when Chance disappeared. I never found a record anywhere to back up the grandpa sexual abuse allegation made by brother, and trust me, I looked.

Has the ex-wife's mother been commenting somewhere?

One of the news stories did mention that she was using opiates (although I wouldn't be surprised if they both used a veritable smorgasboard of drugs).

off-topic rant: Meanwhile, chronic pain patients are jumping through hoops just to get the bare minimum (and often not even getting that).

It took me an act of congress just to get the FOUR 8mg Hydromorphone (Dilaudid) I need to be able to get out of the bed everyday, and it only took me SEVEN years of medical tests, Pain management Drs, ER visits and more Doctors before I could get anyone to actually listen to me and beLIEve me.

I still cannot get anything for breakthrough pain, thanks to like we have here.

Any word on JW employment history? Smack is cheap but it's still costly to support two junkies who have numerous love affairs with all things dope/opiate/coca/weed related. JMO

He did time for fencing stolen property. I think that was his job. One of his arrest reports has his occupation listed as "Cook". He probably didn't tell them that what he was cooking was meth.

Yes, we know the ex-wife's name and her mother's name; it's all in the first thread. Her mother spoke to the media, but she did not. We can't mention those names here or sleuth the ex-wife, her mother, her father, her children. Just JW and KB. Hope that helps!

It says she is charged with "Federal Murder". Why is that? The press may not have the access to federal court that they do in Florida common pleas courts

I'm not fully caught up with this thread, just want to make a possible observation about something on Kristen's FB page.


Her comment about the vacation and Joseph Walsh's response of "Fun time!"...

On his own page, JW never uses punctuation. I wonder if Kristen has his login info and wrote that post herself while logged into his account... She uses exclamation marks a lot, it feels like she said it, not him.

The comment from JW on Kristen's post about loving him no matter what, that looks like JW's writing style. I know that two words is generally too little to judge who wrote something but someone who never uses punctuation of any sort shouldn't be using an exclamation mark in that little two-word sentence, it's just not his style.

I don't know if I am being overly nitpicky or what, but there are so many little details that are just off, and don't ring true.

From the above article:
:Bury explained that the gloves Walsh was wearing tore on the shovel and fragments would likely be in the shallow grave, which investigators did find, the report said."

Doesn't that seem like a weird detail to provide? Wouldn't finding his body be enough, why add 'Oh, bee tee dubs, you're going to find some glove fragments in there. Those are from my awesome husband wearing them.'

I get the feeling (subject to change!) that now that their butts are in hot water, she's doing all she can to point the finger at him. Which makes me think she did a heck of a lot more than stare at JW in awe while he murdered Chance.

(also interesting that this article says JW killed Chance by smothering him with a baby wipe. So maybe this whole article is bunk.)

If she told them he'd been wearing gloves when he killed Chance or moved him LE might have asked where they were. Because yeah, it does sound weird to think of it as "You'll know it's Chance because of the gloves. Hey, can we have those back?"

all of my babies lost weight after birth because I had an IV during labor so they had too much water in them, and because milk doesn't come in for a few days so the baby is only getting colostrum. they were usually back to birth week between 10-14 days though. but, I nurture, nurse and care for my babies. she did not.

After my daughter was born everyone warned me she would lose weight at first and it was in the "DON'T FREAK OUT IT'S OKAY" way because of course new mothers freak out when their babies lose weight or don't gain or fail to thrive. That's what we do. So why isn't a mother freaking out when her baby hasn't even gained a POUND in TWO MONTHS??!! I guess she had other things on her mind.

She mentioned that her biggest regret in life was giving D***** up for adoption. She made it sound voluntary, not like he was taken away from her. But who knows? I think KB and the truth are strangers.

"Felony" murder.

Is this an error on the part of the reporter, then? She definitely said "federal" murder, but I don't understand that. On a quick Google search, I found that federal law/federal death penalty can come into play if the murder was related to torture or child rape/molestation/exploitation. I'd really resisted even considering that angle, and I still hope it's not true. But from the lists I saw, "federal" murder charges seemed to apply to more "organized" crimes of torture, child , etc. I'm really confused. Can anyone explain why the reporter said "federal?" I hope this doesn't mean that KB and JW will have it any easier or will be able to hide their crimes/records easier. They don't deserve it.

--according to the DCF intake report, filed in July--- the day after chance was born, it states that KB was recently approved for section 8 housing/receives a disability check, and that JW works for a pizza company. his booking info on the sarasota jail site has his occupation listed as :cook.
