i keep checking back, thinking SOMEONE has a rational explanation fir the actions of RP.

anyone?

i am an admitted overprotective momma bear. my kids range from 2 to 20, have never even been left with a baby sitter that wasnt a gparent or aunt.

i just don't get it.

I can't wait for all the surveillance video to emerge.

What time did they enter WM?

Why would the police want the stroller so badly? Because it places the perp's DNA on it? Interesting is all I can say about this.

The seats in the van are removed. Ugh.

dressing room & high heels :thud:

This is where u gather ur kiddies up.. find the nearest member of staff and ask for help...

I would have just wrapped my shopping trolley round his head...

im wondering if they are hoping the stroller is at the scene of the crime.

Poor Cherish. She really didn't have a chance that night, did she? I pray the remaining two children will be put into a much safer situation soon. A person with judgment this poor should NOT, IMO, be legally or even temporarily responsible for children.

And all of this is giving the mom the benefit of doubt that this was all just horrible, irresponsible, neglectful parenting, and not something more sinister.

IMO and I hope I don't get a time out for saying that. :tos: :gasp:

OMG...it just keeps getting worse. He took her into the dressing room not once, but TWICE. First of all - that would have never have happened if that were me, but if it did - my butt would have been alerting Walmart security the first time he took Cherish into the dressing room!!!! Then he wants to buy Cherish high heeled shoes??? And mom waits until 11:19 to call authorities? Almost 20 minutes after the store closes?

WOW.

Yep and this appears to be AFTER she said she had thought he was creepy and annoying. And after this happened she still didn't tell him to go away? And she just kept shopping and (according to which version you go by) she then either left her daughter completely unsupervised for the rest of the evening or allowed the perp to take her out to mcdonalds. Seems she was determined to do whatever it takes for that $100. Is that all a child's life is worth?:banghead:

wasn't there a comment/witness that stated she had noticed cherish in the shoe aisle?

so let me get this straight:
Shopping in DG and remarks she can't purchase something due to cost
walks outside (per report) and he's waiting offering to take them to walmart.
They drive 15+ miles to the walmart in creepy van with creepy man that has a seat(s) removed. She apparently notices the carpet and brings this up in the report (I found this odd)
Go into walmart and spend 3 hours shopping with creepy guy
guy takes Cherish into dressing room
twice
offers to buy her high heels
takes her out of the store for food
mom calls 20+ mins later (when store is closed)
kids with her are remarked barefoot, dirty and hungry / bruised.

boyfriend randomly shows up at the walmart (although he ..according to himself.. didn't know they were going there) because they had failed to return
no car
stroller is left in the van and now a bolo for it.

Questions:
Why blur her image? Are they afraid of retaliation OR is it because they want joe public to concentrate on the stroller not a face?
Where are the 3 kids in that photo with the stroller?
Where are the 3 kids in the photo at walmart

How does a man go into a dressing room with a female child (guessing it was the female dressing room)? Why didn't mom go? And twice no less. It's not like he snuck back there because she IS aware of both times he was present. She still hung out with him

This is for a 100 GIFT CARD. Not cash.

I'm thinking they are trying to validate the moms story also.

When did she change clothes? Where is the stroller? Did they go somewhere else after leaving DG and before Walmart?

I didn't know they started closing this Walmart at 11pm. Wonder if it had to do with the high crime in this area. This is the same Walmart that the kids raided not too long ago.
What do they call these people that go in places and dance? But these kids ran sack the place. It was during the early morning hours when that took place.

I'm stunned by these latest pieces of info.

So let me guess...this RSO molests Cherish twice in the dressing room while her Mom shops and thinks to himself, "man this woman will let me get away with anything...I have an idea, why even continue with the pretense of the giftcard when I've struck gold?"

Good lord. I've tried to be really careful not to bash the Mom, but this is just TOO much.

If you look at the WM photo, it's a photo laying on a desk. Under that photo is another one. If you turn the photo clockwise, there's a clearer shot of Mom wearing the same black dress as at DG. She is in the shoe aisle. You can see the boxes behind her. In the top photo he looks to me like he's looking in the cart thinking "htf am I gonna pay for this?"

MOO is that LE is looking for the stroller in hopes of finding the clothes and flip flops that Cherish was wearing.

every wallMart I've been in has a "dressing room lady"... i wonder what she thought? i mean, my ex husband didnt even go IN the dressing room with our daughter when she was younger....

  • #99
By not stepping in where she should have, this mother gives me the impression that she thought Cherish should be able to take care of herself.

He went into the dressing room with her
She followed him out to McDonalds

Or she wanted that non-existent gift card so badly she'd allow any behaviours to get it.

Poor little Cherish. She was failed in so many ways. I just can't not fathom what she went through - and now with the new information that has come out today (dressing room and high heels) I am just completely sick. How dare that mother allow this to happen so damn easily. Dressing room TWICE, high heels? I mean....COME ON!!!!!! She practically put her child in that perv's hands. I worry about her other two daughters. That woman is not capable of taking care of children safely. I hope Child Protection Services steps in and takes a hard look at this family.
